I can't really speak to the touch screen feature as I've never tried to use them for that purpose. I will say that I like the weight of them because they're not that heavy but they're still thick enough to keep your hands warm, and there they have grip on the palms that make them great for driving, and suitable for doing light work outside in the winter. They don't work on iphone touchscreen very well unfortunately, maybe only 10-20% of the time. I had (and lost) another pair of texting gloves that did work well, but they were slippery.
