I broke the jack on my DT 770 Pros. Bought this and managed to fix my headphones but the jack plastics are really low quality. However it works so I really don't mind too much and this was pretty cheap so not a big deal in my eyes.

I picked up a set of Sony headphones for three bucks in a thrift shop. Figured why not. One channel was intermittent. Grabbe done of these and soldered it on. Connections take solder well. So now for undr 5 dollars, I hae a set of Sony headphones

Individual item works as advertised. Using it for low power non-audio application. Solders fine, assembly easy, mechanically and electrically good. Acceptable durability for inexpensive plastic case. Only thing is that I only need one of these, rest are wasted money for me - but yeah, they are cheap anyway.

Cutting to the chase, these replacement plugs are straight forward for replacing a 3 pole 3.5mm stereo plug. If you need to replace a plug that has left/right sound and mic, this is the wrong replacement (3 pole vs 4 pole). I bought these to replace the stereo plug for my ancient Dell speakers and powered subwoofer that I use for Zoom calls and music on my laptop. The old plug had a short in it, so wiggling the cable at the plug would sometimes restore the left channel. Replacement involved cutting the old plug, stripping off the plastic sheathing an inch or so, stripping the plastic sheath on the wires inside by a quarter inch or so. Pinching the wires with your fingers or putting a magnet on the wires will let you identify which wire goes left/right by the white noise that makes. Unscrew the plug from the shell, put the shell over the wire, solder on the 3 wires, and screw the shell to the plug. All in all, I had the replacement on in about 10 minutes (and I was going slow).

Works great on dt770s on its own, but the cable’s loose. Just add some heat shrink like I have pictured and you’ll be fine. (Red cable is left channel, white is right, and black is ground)

Bought these for a project to mod my DT 770 Pro 80 ohm. The plastic stress reliever isn't the best of quality, but it does the job. I didn't notice any major change in sound/volume after using two of these to create an audio cable.

I use these for a LMR radio speaker adaptation. Solder one leg, shrinkwrap it, solder the second leg. Spin on the back housing, use a tiny zip tie to lock the wire. Easy peasy
