Excellent safe at an excellent price with prime ship. Exactly as advertised. Solid build and has real nice features such as the door interior organization. Keypad is easy to use.

DO NOT BUY!!! My safe arrived dented with scratches and paint chipping off the safe! Sportco wholesale even denies that my order number is invalid!! Crooks and a ripoff!! My best advice to everyone is to buy a safe locally around your area to avoid headaches and disappointment!!

My handle started slipping and came off after under 50 openings and closings. The handle has a a bushing inside it that used to be a tight fit over the splined shaft on the opening mechanism. It looked like a new bushing would provide a tight fit and still allow the "Clutch Release" function to do its job. Called them up, and got a girl who knew nothing about safes or bushings (or Shinola, for that matter) and told me to call a locksmith. She said no parts are available from them.So much for their technical help department.So, this is like a lot of other Chinese products. It is good as long as it works. When it fails, you are on your own.

Let me tell you something. I use to sell a butt load of these safes a year. These are American made, right in California. These are a high quality safe with lots of options to make any picky person happy.Anyone saying otherwise has not purchased one.Even though I have switched jobs I still tell family and friends to go with AMSEC.Yes, they are a little more expensive. The quality of this safe is better than most in its price range, but it's made in China. If this is important to you, look elsewhere.
