I bought this device bc I am obsessed with ghost adventures and to speak to my dad who committed suicide 8 years ago. I was hoping to have a full on conversation with him, or anyone for that matter. I have caught some crazy voices that were very clear, but made zero sense. “You need to _ see guy again”, “Guyyyyyy”, Casssssiiiieeeee”, those were from a grave yard, then I took it to the house I grew up in, and went in the room my dad took his life in... NODDA. A few maybes, but nothing concrete that gave me hope that my dad is ok. The white noise is so loud when you do catch a voice it’s impossible to make out what the heck they are trying to say. Very disappointed. UPDATE: This device works. Record every session bc upon playback you are going to hear A LOT of voices you couldn’t hear in real time. Warning: this is the same as using a ouija board, so if you were ever told not to play with a ouija board then you don’t want to mess with this device, it is NOT A TOY. I’m not sure if I will use this device again. If you suffer from depression or any kind of mental illnesses, I would advise you to leave this alone and watch an episode of Ghost Adventures. I wish I had taken it a bit more seriously. After visiting the room my dad took his life in and performing a spirit box session, I didn’t think I captured anything bc I couldn’t hear it in real time... I captured more than I thought, but it wasn’t my dad. I’m still disturbed by the only word that could possibly have been from him: “Help!” Now I gotta figure out what to do with that response to the question: “are you ok, Dad?”

Great novelty gift. Worked as described

This is amazing. I really don't know the words to explain. I thought this would take awhile to get use to but I heard "Misty finally got one, finally" then someone say "now I can finally talk" as soon as i turned it on (when listening back to the voice recorder) and it went on and one. The key is you MUST record it and listen to it on playback with headphones. Make your sessions short so that you can communicate with spirit in semi-real time. I was listening closely but couldn't make much out until I listened to the voice recorder and then .. Clear as day!

I already have the Sbox spirit box which is great, & I had many people tell me that i would like the Sb7 if I were to try it, but I know other people who have the Sb7 & they say that without an external speaker you really can’t hear the Sb7, So when I noticed in the description that the Sb7 came with a free external speaker I figured this was my opportunity to get one so I jumped on that deal only to find out that it does not come with a free external speaker & so I called customer service which they agreed the listing says it comes with a free external speaker, so they sent me a replacement assuming that maybe the one I received the external speaker got lost in shipping, & the same thing with the replacement no speaker & so I ended up spending $16 on a external speaker & I will suck it up, but I would say that is bad business to write in the description that something is included to get the item sold, I was going to do a review/unboxing on YouTube but I don’t want to bad mouth them

So, after wanting one of these for YEARS I finally decided to bite the bullet and buy one. I saw this one here, and it was for a very decent price, and I read the reviews on it, which were good. So I figured, why not? And gave it a try. Now, it is set up very nicely in the packaging, they even give you detailed instructions on how to use it- It does take a little while to get used to hearing potential voices in the box. I'm still learning, and developing that sense for it, but I straight up had a conversation last night with a couple of spirits, and a voice of a deceased relative even came through! That was really cool. I plan on using this tool as an investigator and someone who helps other with the paranormal a lot. THANK YOU!!

First thing not mentioned anywhere or at least anywhere visible: it is a MINI RADIO. It took me by surprise when I saw the amazon box...then the box for the radio and the radio itself. It just kept getting smaller and smaller. Now that can be over looked, after all smaller is easier to carry and store in your pocket. What I cannot ignore is how I overpaid for a cheap radio that arrived as a defective product. It will not turn on, the buttons seem to be jammed and the antenna doesn't pull out. I can't even use the product. It honestly looks like a TOY that I would buy at the dollar tree. Also you CANNOT RETURN the product. Somehow amazon allows it to be sent but not returned. Probably because it's a scam. Whatever you do don't buy this crap. I recommend buying top of the line quality stuff. Something trustworthy and not budget friendly rip off crap. Think of it like this, you can waste your money on crap you'll have to buy again and again, or straight up lose all your money on nothing, or you can save up and invest in something you know will last and provide your monies worth.

I rarely write reviews, but felt I needed to for this product. I took this to my daughters house to use for the first time. It was built in the 1800’s and I’ve had an interesting EVP session there in the past. Figured I would end up talking to a farmer or his family, but this quickly proved to not be the case. After asking about when they lived there, if they had children, occupation and other basic questions I had heard nothing that I would have made me believe that something was communicating. Then I asked do you know me? And it was on. I lost my 61 year old mother to an aneurysm 19 months ago. We were an extremely close family and we are all having a difficult time moving on without her. She answered almost every question immediately and clearly for about 45 minutes and we were the ones who chose to end the session. It was shocking, exhilarating, frightening, intense and comforting and rolled into one. Who knows, maybe this will help me heal 🙏 We will definitely be using this again!
