Kinda Keto... if you are dirty, lazy Keto this one is for you!
I was very surprised to find recipes that use flour, tortillas, orange juice and condensed milk in a Keto cookbook. There are plenty of recipes that are true keto that I look forward to trying. I cookbooks with photos, but my daughter recommended this one.

First rattle out of the box, recipe incorrect
First off, I have no problems with a cookbook with no pictures. I am an experienced cook who can made adjustments on the fly in general with equipment I know how to use, but I'm a virtual newbie at the Air Fryer. I made #519 Double Chocolate Whiskey Brownies. I thought, "few ingredients, have them all, looks basic, let's give it a whirl." This is the second recipe I've ever attempted in the AF. I first thought, WOW, that's a lot of coconut oil and white chocolate chips but I'll go with it. Going down the line, the ingredients aren't listed in order of use (always nice to have things grouped together so one doesn't have to jump around when adding groups of ingredients together in steps). I got to the line "soak the cranberries in the whiskey for 15 minutes" I thought "whoa, I didn't see cranberries in the ingredient list!" I checked three times (and there aren't very many ingredients to begin with), nope, not there. Was I supposed to use Craisins or fresh or frozen? I used Craisins and I guessed 2T and let them soak for the requested 15 minutes. I continued on. Got to the point where I was to add the cranberries, and it just said "add them to the batter." Was I supposed to ditch the whiskey, add it with the cranberries, what? It didn't say. I added it to the batter since the recipe title says they are whiskey brownies. It didn't say what size pan to use or even what type of pan to use. For a beginner's cookbook, the deets are pretty slim. After the 35 minute cooking time, I took them out. Let them rest a few minutes and tested to see if they were done (the knife came out clean) however they were SUPER wet on the bottom, like I would think they weren't cooked all the way but they weren't raw doughy, just really wet. I'm GUESSING there was too much oil in relation to the other ingredients. The flavor was wonderful but as a complete beginner, I don't feel confident at all about continuing on with recipes other than basic "heat the meat" recipes. She talks about cookies on cookie sheets. Do I stack the sheets, do I use a pizza pan? How do I stack two layer cake pans in my AF or two cookie sheets? I don't have an AF with two shelves, I have a square one with a basket. It would also have been nice to know what type of cooker she was using so I could get an idea of rigging up something comparable.Anything labeled "beginners" should have instructions on how to even use the machine (not operation, but the basics of who an AF works and bakes etc). "Cookbook for Beginners" shouldn't include just basic recipes, it should include the science behind AFing so we can learn to strengthen and improve our skills. I know at the $12 price point maybe I shouldn't expect more than what there is, and maybe I picked the one recipe out of 550 that is incorrect. I gave it three stars b/c at this point, the flavor was good even if the recipe was sketchy. I'm willing to give the book a few more tries to see if other recipes are more complete and correct. The zucchini fries are intriguing...Another thing I was disappointed about was there is no way (that I can easily find) to contact the author and ask for recipe corrections. I'm willing to be flexible but it sure would be nice to be able to contact someone and just ask for clarification. If I come across a bunch more errors, I'll be back to update the review. I'll let you know if I kept the book or return it as defective.

Won’t be using
I got an air fryer for Christmas and was excited to see a Keto air fryer cookbook. However this book is full of high carb recipes which defeats the purpose of low carb Keto eating. Won’t be using this book.Update: I got two books and reviewed the wrong one here. Its actually great and I give it 5 stars!

Great Choice!
I have only tried a few of the recipes from this book so far but the Chicken Sausage Zucchini Casserole is delicious! I’ve made it in the air fryer and in the oven, both turned out great. I do wish there were pictures but for the price and how many recipes there are, it’s not a big deal. Highly Recommend!

Not really keto
This book has tons of recipes. They look really good. I only gave it a four star review because many of the recipes call for non keto ingredients. If you are strict keto, you will need to modify the ingredients. ( examples include all purpose flour, milk, sweet and sour pickles, and low fat mayonnaise).

Love My Steaks
I have not used my outdoor grill since I purchased this air frier. Easy to use and clean. My steaks do not get burned any more!

Well written. Lot's of possibilities!
I originally bought it for the Nuwave Brio. But I gave that away and bought the Nuwave Oven. But I'm using the cookbook for that. Still working on changing the recipes over to the oven from the Brio.

TERRIBLE Editing! This review is on editing and ease of using the book only
I just got this book and sat down with it today to use the 3 week meal plan (first photo). I LOVED that about this book and that's why I ordered it.One day 1 (again, first photo)Breakfast: Omelet with Mushrooms and PeppersI looked under the index for Dairy, not there. So I checked under Vegetarian, nope, not there either. I found it under Fish & Seafood (2nd photo). There's no fish or seafood in the dish.Snacks: Must-Serve Thai PrawnsI checked under Snacks and Fish & Seafood. No luck. I found it under Vegetarian (3rd photo). Um, shrimp is not a vegetarian dish.Lunch: Smoked Beef BurgerInstinct has me look under the Beef category. It wasn't there. I found it under Pork (4th photo). There's no pork in the recipe.Dinner: Spicy Braised VegetablesI searched under Vegetarian and also under Vegetables & Side dishes. Guess what? It wasn't under either. Instead I found it under Eggs & Dairy (5th photo).I wish the editor had caught these errors. It also would have been nice if on the 3 week meal plan they had put the page numbers next to the recipes listed (I wrote them in). It would be WONDERFUL if the dishes were alphabetized under their correct category just for ease of use. Having each recipe listed under the wrong category was a big enough pain but having to scan each page, line-by-line, to actually find the recipe was another.Again, this review is only due to terrible editing and ease of finding recipes due to bad organizing (not being alphabetized). I haven't cooked anything from this book yet and I'll come back and either do a separate review on the recipes (if one is allowed to post 2 separate reviews for the same purchase) or will come back and edit this one (if I can't do 2 different reviews).
