This is my second Emerson Sensi thermostat. I have one in my shop and I bought this second thermostat for my house. I am so impressed by the quality, durability, appearance, ease of use, and the phone application. I have used other brands of WiFi programmable thermostats but none are as good and reliable as the Sensi ST55.

I was not sure if this would fit the Sensi Lite Smart Thermostat but it does. They don't sell one that I could find made for the Lite model. There are two small tips on either side of the plate that you need to break off or sand down carefully. This allows the Sensi Lite Smart Thermostat to fit flush to the plate. Screw holes align perfectly and easy to install with the thermostat. Covers holes from old thermostat and looks professionally installed. The plate is well made and solid. Looks nice.

This product, although often times sold with the Sensi touch, is not 100% a fit for the Touch. However, with a very small modification this works perfectly, and far cheaper (less than 50% of the plate that will work, so they claim).To make this work there are two tiny prongs on the outside surface of the plate (where the thermostat base sits) that prevent the base sitting flush. I cut them off and it works nicely. The plate sits flush and you cannot tell that it was not meant for the touch.I needed this because the old thermostat fit into a vertical blue gang box and the Sensi touch really requires a horizontal mount. I did not want to go through that work, it was easier just to buy a plate to sit behind the thermostat.NOTE: I took a chance even though it is documented that this is not for the Sensi Touch because this was less than $7 and the one that is a non-brand that is supposed to work with the Sensi Touch as greater than $15, I needed two, so this was a trial and error kind of thing for me. And I just figured out this little "trick" to make it work.

This wall plate looks good and is a nice solution for a Sensi Lite installation that has a smaller footprint than the previous thermostat. It requires modification to work, however. There are two small raised hooks on either end that need to be removed. I cut them off using a Dremel. Final product looks great.

This plate will cover up any holes, etc. behind your old thermostat and give a professional look to your Sensi thermostat installation. Certainly easier than patching and painting drywall!Note that Amazon sells the Sensi Touch (ST75) thermostat and this wall plate as a bundle, but the wall plate is technically not for the ST75. However, with a quick DIY alteration it is compatible: there are two small plastic pins (see photo) which will prevent the ST75 back panel from being properly centered on the wall plate. Simply remove these pins (I sanded them down) and then the ST75 can easily be placed and centered correctly.

The product fits well on the wall. The thermostat looks nice on the product. This is good because my previous thermostat had a round shape.

I liked that it covered the outlet box that was under my old thermostat, I also had to snip of the little plastic tabs so the new thermostat sat flat on the cover.

I had a hole in the wall bigger than the thermostat...this covers it nicely.

Plate fit perfectly. Thermostat looks great now and hides the old thermostat outline.
