The Darn Tough Hiker Socks are an amazing product—I've never had a blister, and they're my go-to socks for both hiking and daily wear. They provide great comfort, support, warmth and durability. The only downside is that they are a bit expensive, but considering the quality and performance, they're definitely worth the investment!

Extremely comfortable and wear incredibly well. The marketing says you can do multi day wear... 2 days is my limit but they breathe so well my feet stay warm but don't sweat so the socks don't smell. Used them to go on long hikes that would've previously had my feet in bits and they kept my feet protected. Love them.

My husband loves these socks and has several pairs. They're very hard-wearing as advertised and are very good quality. They are worth the extra you pay as they last so much longer and don't develop holes as cheaper socks do. He uses them for hiking and wearing with his work boots.

These guys have ruined my will to buy any other socks. Once you try these, you'll never want to go back to regular socks and it sucks because they're quite pricey. However, slowly building up a collection is very much worth it and they have a lifetime warranty. Not that I imagine I'll have to use it anytime soon, these feel super solid. They fit wonderfully, they're warm, I do wash mine unlike their recommendation but they wash very well, they're just the best sock I've ever used. My sock drawer is now Darn Tough for casual clothes, Panterella for business. Trust me, once you go there you won't want to go back, it's 100% a worthwhile investment.

i wear size 9, bought the mediums and the legs are a wee bit tight, i'm especially senstive to that but my legs are skinny so... the foot fits really well, and they do seem like they will avoid blistering, not thick but very substantial. i will buy more.

My first biggest bugbear when it comes to socks are ridged seams that sit over your toes which are uncomfortable and cause blisters. Secondly, it's the socks that cling to your feet and are wet with sweat when you take your boots or shoes off. I'm on my feet all day at work, I can cover miles and I also like to go hiking so a sock that can put up with that kind of use is number one on my Christmas list. I took a chance with Darn Tough though initially I was put off by what I considered was the high purchase cost. How much better could they be to the Lorpen midweight socks I was using. The Lorpen socks are fully synthetic and while they are comfortable they still got quite damp. They also failed after a month of heavy use as my toe burrowed right through. This was disappointing but they are priced less than these Darn Tough socks. They also tended to start smelling sweaty very quickly and hardened with a couple of days of hiking around the Lake District. The difference these socks make is amazing. First off, I wear leather/leather lined hiking boots and steer clear of synthetics and Gortex. They allow my feet to breath and are still waterproof when treated with wax. These socks have made a huge difference. They fit perfectly, they have no seams, they do not have tight spots or leave a mark around the calf and they stay in place. My feet feel so much drier than before, probably down to the high percentage of merino wool. The socks don't smell or harden after a few days use. If you do get a bit of water in your boots they are great at wicking moisture away. They are a relevation to my feet. So much so, I bought another two pairs. They are guaranteed for life, but I'm going to do my best to try and wear them out......

The sock is expensive but it’s the best socks I ever wore. It is thick but it keeps your feet warm and dry. For its thickness, it also does not cause your feet to sweat.

So you are looking for socks? Wool socks? You have already went to local big box store to buy some and they were not exactly the best fitting socks so now you are here. So since your here you have already got over the initial shock of paying this much for a pair of socks. Do yourself a favor and buy one pair. Don't tell your wife, kids, parents, friends or coworkers because they are gonna laugh at you because they have yet to wear these socks. I promise you they will be your favorite socks. Socks they you seek out and wash as often as you can so you can wear them again. Seriously these are the best socks ever. I'm on my feet all day at work and love these. No other socks from a big box store fit the same as these. So worth it.

Very durable and comfortable socks fit like a glove and keep your feet warm. Also seems like they will last a long time no signs of ripping or tearing when putting them on. Highly recommend, and they seem to be worth the price.

I wear a size 17 shoe, and these in XXL fit perfectly. I also have plantar fascitis in my left foot and, unexpectedly, it feels better after 3 days in these socks than it has in years. I have no idea why this is. I immediately noticed the super high quality craftsmanship and material used in these socks. I ordered a few more pair after a few hours in these socks and I plan to phase out all of my other socks and replace them with Darn Tough. I recommend these socks to everyone! No other sock holds a candle to these. I assumed the glowing reviews were somewhat embellished until I put on my first pair. I see why these socks cost as much as they do, and I believe these are a better value than any other sock.
