Purchased January 2020 .... This is an initial review. I hope intend to post a follow-up.Intended use: RV travel trailer; boon docking.Was struggling with the decision whether or not to go with a 2k or 3k generator. Weight, portability, and power needs drove me to the 2k version. I really wanted a dual fuel model, but could not justify the added cost for now. Watching youtube reviews convinced me that I could survive with the 2k generator. Thanks to those who have produced and posted the videos! (LoHo, RVdaydream, hobotech, the Great Outdoors, Fate Unbound, and many more)Reasons for purchasing this specific model: price, weight, and features!Price $450 ... Before it was delivered, price dropped $25.I like the electronic display! Display shows how much load is on the generator, (how many volts it’s putting out) as well as how many running hours it has and fuel guage.The Hobo Tech review convinced me to try this one out.Everything on the generator seems to be pretty well made, the handle, the gas vent, and the main switch operate smoothly and don’t feel flimsy, the carry handle on the top feels pretty stout as well.I can handle the weight (approx 50lbs - I was afraid to go with anything heavier). the wheels are a nice feature for concrete/pavement, not so sure they will roll well while boon docking, hence one reason for the weight consideration. Thee extension handle, is a nice feature. Was impressed with the sound level, seemed quieter than the YouTube videos.Startup and initialization was as depicted by other reviews ... simple. It took maybe 10-15 minutes to get everything out, read the instructions, and put the oil in. After adding the fuel, I just had to give it a few pulls and then it started up ... agaun, pretty consistent with other reviews.II’ll have to see how long this thing lasts, but if it’s anything as long as some of the other inverter generators out there, it’s a great value.

I have an RV and it's got solar. On days when the sun is on vacation. Introduce easy to start, lightweight generator to charge battery bank. Who else has a digital output meter, a fuel gauge, cig & USB lighter output, And a pull out handle to walk it to the spot your going to start it with its ergonomically friendly pull cord?The only thing they missed with this generator is related 12V output battery charging. (I'm using a 120v charger controller) and electric start. Comes with parallel cords! Buy two and run your AC units!

Started on the first pull. Have only run it with a partial load but it is quieter than my old Yamaha. I am 70 year old and can lift it into the truck which is important. I may decided to run it in parallel to get more power. I appreciate that all the connections and tools are provided. If you are looking for a small generator for camping give this one serious consideration

Great small generator at a very good price

It starts and runs smooth, the only problem i have is it is a bit heavier the i had hoped, i think it is well worth the money

I went camping in Montana, for ten days in January. I used it about an hour a day, 13 hours for the trip. The main reason to have the generator was for running the block heater on my truck. I would recommend buying one.

30 amp outlet huge plus. Love that you can monitor running hours, fuel level, power output. Starts on first pull everytime
