Superb Mixing Headphones.
Been waiting on these for awhile and they do not disappoint. They sound excellent and I'm already finding flaws in my old mixes. Frustrating on one level, but a good thing going forward. The new Homelab software is also a real bonus. You just input your model and the software flattens the EQ curve. It also uses some clever techniques to give you a better impression of what listening to a pair of monitors sounds like. That said, I have see Youtube videos that indicated that hey it's just like listening to a pair of near field monitors. It isn't. It does not miraculously bend the laws of physics to do that trick. It does narrow the stereo field depending on how you set it. Still a very useful tool. Currently the app only works through your DAW, not as a standalone program. Great mixing headphones, worth every penny. For those on a tighter budget looking for great value, The Samson SR850 headphones are superb, unbeatable at the price level for what you get. Hope this helps.

A Great Pair of Cans
I stayed away from over ear headphones for a while due to them being uncomfortable instead preferring IEMs however these are a game changer and can be worn for ages with little to no ache even with wearing glasses. The sound quality is great allowing me to hear footsteps in games, hear my wife across the room or and listen to spottily with no issues. The cable is non detachable and very long so be prepared to route it or deal with cable excess, It does bunch up and tangle. The cups themselves are very durable,They are expensive but highly worth it for a comfortable pair of cans.

Premium headphones, with a premium price, however easily justifiable.
The comfort that these headphones provide after breaking them in for a few days is unreal, the audio quality is also crisp, with a more "fun" tone, however for streaming purposes, the open-backed design is optimal, allowing you to head your own voice more easily whilst speaking, and providing a simplistic yet optimal solution for such purposes. The build quality also justified the potentially off-putting price too, with a sturdy and robust construction with a central metal headband surrounded with an easily detachable faux leather buttoned cover. This allows for maintenance over time and for repairs if needed, defying an otherwise common practice of planned obsolescence and disruption of right-to-repair. Finally, the cable itself is very high quality, and is rather long, ensuring that it will not become an issue, whilst also seemingly being resistant to tangling and interference. The headphones weight is relatively average, perhaps on the heavier side, however once the headphones have been broken in, you almost forget you are wearing them. I use these headphones for a mixture of gaming and music listening, and i can easily say that they perform extremely well for both applications. I have been able to hear the smallest details whilst gaming with ease (such as otherwise hard-to-notice distance footsteps), and have also been able to hear small details whilst listening to music in much the same manner. Overall, I can easily recommend these headphones to anyone looking for a quality product, however I will mention that for the best experience listening, an audio interface / amplifier is recommended to reach comfortable levels at high quality. This is not as much of an issue with the 80ohm variant as with the 250ohm variant, however it should still be considered regardless.

Headset
Really good headset

Decent headphones and way better than most.
Pleased with these and the only downside is because of the high impedance there a little low on the output side and may require a separate headphone amp. (FOSI make a decent one that’s inexpensive)Apart from that they’re great headphones. 😊

Very nearly unrivaled quality
I've owned quite a few headphones from many manufacturers, and few have managed to impress me straight away as the DT 990's have.My gold standard had so far been Sennheiser's HD 569, and while I won't knock the DT 990'S, they've made me appreciate those headphones' price-to-quality ratio all the more.I will say that this stellar offering from beyerdynamic seriously matches others approaching double their price range. Unrivaled clarity and soundstage layering. The 80 ohms version will suit most desktop computers with recent Realtek/Soundblaster chips or home stereo systems. The biggest difference is that you'll be able to crank up the volume. That, incidentally, is the main drawback of the HD 569's: they sound deafening if you try to push the volume beyond 25/100 on a desktop PC. For comparison, I can easily drive the 990's to 45/100 for a similar loudness level.Comfort is up there. The frame is loose enough, although there is a bit of pressure on the ears. For comparison, most of the core lineup from Audio-Technica are very constricting. Sennheiser's 569/599 are a touch more comfortable with just slightly less pressure on the ears. Pionner's feel lighter but have something of a lower quality of materials in their core range. The 990's velour pads are very close in softness to the 569's weird yet so very comfortable synthetic equivalent.Below two hundred, I still feel that the HD 569's are unrivaled, scarily close in terms of fidelity. The DT 990's have a subtle yet clear improvement in crispness; vocals, bass guitar, drums and other instruments are so superbly highlighted, I doubt anything else (short of forking over 500) matches being in the recording room...I concede that these are the overall best headphones I've ever had the pleasure of trying. As for that being worth the 25-30$ price difference, I suppose I'd still have to compare them with the 770's, though they seem to usually sell for roughly the same price. Much is made of the difference between open and closed-back cans, but honestly to my ears that has little to no bearing on listening at home in a quiet enough room. If you travel a lot or want quality listening in an office / shared room setting, you'd best look at closed back. For listening sessions at home: a small yet clear edge on the 569's, nigh-unbeatable price-to-quality ratio (especially if you get them on sale)...what I felt was a needless splurge ended up being a real ear-opener. Don't skimp on quality.
