Amazon needs to change packing method
While wrapped in bubble wrap, Two cans out of six were dented. I think paper would be a better wrap for this type of product to keep the cans from shifting around.No comment on the quality of the beans, since we haven't tried them yet. But, I expect them to be typical HEB goodness.

Chair Beans (for bean dip)
A family member makes a fine dip using these and I wanted to try it. Good tasty beans right from the can, but pour off the extra water/fluids and mix using a hand mixer, then put over burner to cook down some. Add cheese or chunky salsa if you like (Charon beans seem to have some of that in the mix already!). Very good with Fritos or tortilla chips, or over/with other TexMex foods. Good!

Exactly what I needed!
It’s surprisingly hard to find decent charro beans outside of Texas and I’m pretty sure that these are one of the best renditions of this. The taste is great and so much better than Ranch Style which is the alternative for me. I’ll be buying more if I can get my hands on them because it’s much easier than driving to Amarillo!

THESE BEAN ARE THE BEST!
We used to live in Texas and we miss HEB stores and all their products. These beans are one of our favorite things, and while this is a pricey way to buy them (HEB won't ship to us) they are worth it!
