Almost a salad by itself
The Organic crunchy sprout mix was a nice change from the usual mix (though I have those as well). These are flkavorful and substantial, and even provide protein. They can stand on thheir own as a salad and make a nice topping as well. They took a couple of days longer to sprout than other seeds I have sprouted. I soaked them for 2 days instead of 1 because the coats are harder. By the second day they had swollen and some started to split. It took another 2-3 days for them to be fully sprouted. They take a big longer than finer seeds, but I really enjoyed them as a change, and for their own qualities. This is a very nice mix. After we ate the first batch I returned to buy another mix from the company (but may have gone a bit overboard, ordering 5 lbs ;)

Beans did not sprout
The only beans that did sprout were the peas and some of the lentils. Some of he Garbanzos showed small little white shoots but just got smelly rather than sprout. The adzuki beans never did sprout at all, they stayed rock hard. I first tried soaking the mix overnight, then drained and rinsed 3 or more times a day. It's warm where we are so I didn't want the mix to dry out. The peas did sprout and a few of the lentils but the rest of the mix just started to smell bad and the rinse water was very cloudy. I left the mix in the jar for 4 days, rinsing even 4x's a day by taking the mix out of the jar and rinsing in a strainer. No luck. I did pull out the peas, rinsed them well, and ate them. The rest I tossed in the trash. Next I tried soaking the mix for 2 days (48hrs). No luck. Same problem only this time the mix smelled so bad I just tossed the lot. Today I sat and separated the mix into each component. It was a tedious job but maybe I can get some of the beans to sprout. I think the peas will. Won't purchase from this vendor again. I am familiar with sprouting. I always have 2 jars on my counter at different stages, usually lentils, broccoli, or sunflower. I wanted to try something new so I tried this mix. Not a fan.

Very poor quality, they don't sprout.
I've tried two successive batches from this purchase and they mostly do not sprout. I've followed their instructions to the letter: ideal water temp, ideal environment temp, etc., I even set alarms to ensure they were properly attended too at regular intervals. And I'm no stranger to propagating plants, I have done it for a living. The primary content is adzuki and of the 4 tablespoons of seeds only 4 seeds sprouted. The rest remained either rock hard or turned to femented mush. The second worse were the garbanzo, then lentils—straggly and stunted, barely sprouted at all. The peas sprouted most successfully but overall did poorly. I'm certain they would have done much better if they weren't mixed in with all the fermenting duds. In any case, they aren't safe to eat. These cannot be returned so I've contacted the seller for a refund and I've been waiting a week while the company "investigates."

Crunchy for the flies.......maybe
I thought I was the only one who ended up with a bad batch of beans that did not sprout (some did, at the beginning but, most shriveled up, rotted, and attracted flies). Since they can't be returned, I decided to steam some to eat. Nope, not too tasty either. I want my money back cos I don't know what to do with a whole bag of these "Organic crunch beans" Ideas?

Already sprouted in bag! Sigh......
Happy with the product, except the seeds were already sprouting in the bag when I received it. I bought a big bag so I would have seeds for a couple months or more, so not happy about that at all.

Don't bother they don't sprout!
Don't bother wasting time, money and effort on these seeds. Have been sprouting for many years and these seeds put up a few sprouts and the rest turn mushy and sour. Tried 4 times using all the skills we have without positive results.

Quality paid for
Pleased with the quality - for starters - only got 4 sprouting portions out of the small sized bag- will probably just create my own blend of beans to save $

Looking for a bam to your recipes or salad?
These were great to sprout as well as cook. The combination of beans makes for an excellent addition to a dish or on a salad. The quality of the product is exceptional. I recommend highly.

Nice thought ... Don’t do it!
Don’t get this product .., as a seasoned sprouter the idea of a mix of sprouts is a good idea, the reality is seed sprout at such different rates you’ll be picking through a pile of rumble to find ones ready to eat.Buy a good sprouter with shelves, start with mung beans and add separately what would for you. This is not a worthwhile product ...don’t do it!

Sprouts in a few days
These sprout fairly quickly. The sprouts are tasty and crunchy but with a delicate enough flavour to make delicious smoothie
