The numbers of thread was marked wrong. And i couldnt do them. Simplay its all wrong

The Design Works Crafts 2499 Splashdown Horses Counted Cross Stitch Kit looks nice, but to be clear, it is "assembled" in the USA, not necessarily "made" in the USA as the listing describes. My understanding is that many Design Works products are made in the USA, so perhaps it was a simple mistake in the wording listed. However, as you can see by my pictures, this kit is "assembled" in the USA. I have contacted Design Works to inquire where it is made but haven't heard from them yet. When I do, I'll update my review at that point, including more pictures of what is inside the currently unopened package. For now, 4 stars.

I’ve been working on this for a gift. I am down to not having enough fabric at both ends to complete. Still have the rear end of the horse and tail and not enough fabric on that end. At both ends I have to stop and not finish because of no room. So I won’t be getting the full picture. I will figure it out because I have to! Plenty enough threads though. Really disappointed.

This is the stupidest cross stitch instructions I have ever had in my life. The floss colors has numbers but does not coincide with the instructions. I need a refund. I am so frustrated and disappointed. I am furious when I opened the item. This is unacceptable. What a waste of money. Do not buy. False advertising! The threads where all mixed up when I received it in the bag. I could not untangle them all.

The floss card is not marked for easy use for colors... and you cant go by the amount they state for floss count due to to fact that is not correct as well. The rest is ok... just not sure why the floss is so messed up.

Poorly done. No way to discern between the colors needed to see!
