I am unable to find this exact type of foundation in any retail store where I live, but I wanted to give it a whirl after reading some good reviews. I have never bought foundation online, especially when I haven't used it in real life, so I was pretty hesitant. However, I really love this! I have been halfheartedly using L'Oreal True Match, which as far as color selection is great, but it doesn't seem to last very well for me even when using a good primer. I am very fair with freckles so it is hard to find foundation that evens me out, without being so heavy that it covers my freckles. This stuff truly lasts and I adore the finish. I don't like a super duper matte finish for everyday, and this is the perfect finish - not too dewy, not too matte. I generally have to use one type of powder or another to get my desired look with other types of foundation, but not this one. I can apply and not even have to use setting powder. It lasts but doesn't look to thick or fakey. Will definitely reorder! Oh, and the color I got was classic ivory, good for fair freckled redheads.

Are you freaking kidding me?!?! I've ordered a lot on Amazon but I have NEVER received anything like I did today. As soon as I got home from work this evening, I saw it was delivered, picked it up and right away told my husband it didn't feel like what I ordered. NO WONDER! Maybelline literally sent me JUST THE DIRTY, MESSY TOP of a bottle of foundation. Like, what?!?! So I've read other people's reviews before about how their products arrive and I'll admit, like some of you likely, that I've thought to myself "Yeah, sure, you're probably making it up to get a refund". But ya'll. I believe them now because it just happened to me. And the kicker?? Their return policy is literally requiring me to return just the top! SEE THE PHOTO, they sent me exactly that and I haven't even removed it from the package. It has foundation on it so someone just packed it like that?!?! What'd they do with the actual bottle part? NEVER EVER WILL I ORDER FROM MAYBELLINE AGAIN. I knew I should have just kept with It Cosmetics but was being too cheap this time. Well, now I will go and buy what I should have the first time and wait for my refund AFTER I SEND BACK THE TOP OF THE BOTTLE.I'm so ticked off and disappointed that a national well-known company would do this! Smh!! 😡

So i just recieved the item, when i was browsing around for lower cost foundation this one caught my intrest since it is for acne prone skin. I usually wear urban decay all nighter for work, but i wanted something more cost efficient for everday use. I also have oily skin so i wasnt sure how it would work. I tried it at 5pm and wore it till i went to bed at 8, i was pleasantly suprised at how well it held up. It did not oxidize on me, it had a natural finish that didnt seemed changed at all. I was very happy about that since ive tried other drugstore foundations that after 2 hours would show oil and look cakey. I will continue using it an update my review if anything changes.

The dang stuff won't come out no matter how long I pump it. Ugh! And... You can't take the lid off. 😖

Let me say that this is the best foundation, or concealer out there. I had to remove a star because the nozzle in this bottle gave out on me just at the month mark, when I can’t return it. That’s never happened before though. When used as a concealer, (I refill my concealer wand with the foundation because it’s thicker than the concealer), It’s perfect for people who want minimal coverage for under eyes, nose & chin. For people who want to conceal a lot more, it can’t be beat as a foundation for full face coverage. The best thing about it is that it stays put, looks flawless, and actually improves your skin over time. It will fade dark spots and brighten your actual complexion over time. They’ve stopped making it, why I have no idea, but I’m happy I can find it here! It would be nice if I’d known my bottle would fail sooner though, especially since I use so little each day & have so much left still. It has proven impossible to get open. When the nozzle works and pumps like it should, it keeps the air out so your foundation doesn’t oxygenize over time. The one I got just keeps giving me air, air, air, when the bottle is 3/4 full!!I review the products I’ve purchased, so others can avoid wasting their money, or cash in on an excellent deal! Wonderful foundation for my sensitive skin. Color match is perfect. Hides flaws. I mix 2 pumps worth of foundation with 2 pumps of my face serum/moisturizer in my hands and apply to my clean dry face. Coverage is great! For a more matte finish or polished look, apply same color or translucent compact face powder once foundation dries and before you apply the rest of your makeup. I use 1 pump foundation with 1 pump serum on stay at home days to feel put together. Lasts ALL DAY with no touchups.

Consistency and smooth formula

Bought this slightly before I needed it and when I tried to use it, the pump would not work, nor could I unscrew the top. Today is March 3rd and return deadline was March 2nd so I’m stuck with a broken product I cannot use. Very disappointing—so be aware.
