ZOSI 8CH 4K PoE Home Security Camera System, 8pcs 5MP Metal Cam, 2TB HDD

I purchased this system about a year ago after a referral from a client. Great value, easy set-up, and excellent customer service. PoE simplifies the installation process by eliminating a separate power source. Connections include network, lights at NVR and camera ends to confirm the proper connection, which is great when you are standing on top of a ladder installing under soffits. The package arrived quickly with everything needed to get up and running. We recently had a camera stop working, no video signal. Other cameras were functioning properly. I contacted customer support via email for technical support. Louis responded quickly and went through several steps to test the connections, camera, and NVR. He sent easy-to-follow procedures with pictures on how to properly diagnose the issue. He determined that the camera needed to be replaced and sent a replacement right away. Customer service was excellent and Louis walked me through every step and made it easy.

I bought this 8 camera system and self installed it. It is hard wired PoE. It works well and was easy to configure. The home app is very good and does as it describes and is all I needed to keep watch on my house. Customer support was very helpful in helping to configure the app for how I wanted it to be used. After a few months a camera did go bad, and when I contacted customer support they were helpful in trouble shooting the problem and when they determined it was a bad camera they sent a replacement very quickly at no charge. I would highly recommend the Zosi cameras! A great product, better price and 5 star customer service. UPDATE TO MY LAST REVIEW Another camera went pink on me but the Zosi Customer service was 5 STARS as they helped facilitate another replacement camera. They were very helpful in trying to trouble shoot and when the camera was still not working properly my agent sent a replacement right out to me. I will also comment on the new updated app is much more user friendly and very good. Overall the system is solid and for the price you get a good PoE hardwired NVR system with plenty of storage. I would recommend and I would buy again.

I had three cameras that turned pink, got ahold of Support, sent some pictures showing my problems Support gave me some links to try to fix this problem. The instructions were easy but they didn't fix the problem with the pink cameras. They sent me a return sticker and within 7 days I had my new camera, installed them with their instructions and they work perfect. I like my cameras they have a great picture. Big thank you to Slina for her quick response to get this fix for me.

UPDATE: I bought this system and installed it at my house to replace some outdoor WiFi cameras that I installed 4years ago and one out of 7 died so I decided to buy this brand among other brands that I have installed for my costumers. Since day one nothing have worked the way is expected with this brand system. After I post my first review about the problems, someone from costumer service contacted me and give me some steps to fix the issues, some of the issues got resolved, but other issues showed up. >> The image in the cellar app glitches and duplicates, so I don't know which one is pointing at the direction that I want to watch. >> The time in the system is 5hrs different from the cellar app when I look for an event. >> when motion or humans are detected, I get the notifications on my phone but I can't playback the video to see what happened, When I search manually for a time of an event to playback, it says. One user allowed only. I am the only user for the system. >> setting up the time and zone it's a nightmare. Even when I select 12hr format. When I try to do a playback it shows the time on 24hr format. The time of the NVR can't get it to match the time of the cameras. >> since the cameras have been numbered by the factory I can't just put them in any cannel. Makes installation harder. >> camera #3 died 4 weeks after the installation. I replaced with camera #8 and the system will show it based on the camera ID not matter on which port I plug it in. >> I have tried updating the software, have tried powering off, restarting it. If any of the issues gets resolved I will update my review. This system it's been a bad option so far. I have installed and programmed other competitive brands before and nothing as complicated and or as frustrating. I will try to upload some pictures for the records..

This is my 3rd ZOSI system. I have a few properties that require security monitoring. I'm familiar with Zosi systems and their software is easy enough for me to use. I bought this POE system back in Jan. The HD failed after about 4-5 months. I didn't know about it (I wish the system had a warning about HD failures) until I needed to rewind and check on an event. Without the HD, it can only show you what is going on live. I contacted support. They had me do some standard troubleshooting. Long story short, they confirmed it was the HD problem. Gave me a $50 credit on Amazon to use towards a new HD to replace on my own. I have enough technical skills to do that so it wasn't a problem. Overall, it's a system that is reasonably priced and the tech support is responsive. I will continue to buy another Zosi system if the need arises again.

I had 2 systems of another brand before and they both dies after some years of use. I was able to re-use Ethernet cables (4-wire) Image quality is good. Cameras are wider angle than my previous one, which is Ok since the resolution is also higher, so I can get same level of details. Image transmission is reliable even over the included 100ft cable and even over my 100ft hand-made cable (intermittent video drop was a big problem with my previous system) Night vision is good, though IR LED only highlight the center of a wide-angle image. Software interface is intuitive enough - I like it. Now, problems. Mount design is good for developing your 3D imagination, but if you are new to robotics it might take you a while to figure out how to mount the camera. There are 3 degrees of freedom but stacking order is not intuition-friendly. It is Ok, you will get used to it by the time you mount your 8th camera. Another problem is: one of 8 cameras was blurry. I took a closer look and found severe moisture condensation. That camera was mounted in a garage and the weather was dry since the package arrived, so all that moisture is likely came from China. That is also not a big problem. I opened the camera (it is easy - just 3 small screws) and let it dry and now it works well. Update: Power supply is not providing enough power. Only 7 cameras can work reliably at a time - signal from one or two cameras disappears at random. Replacing it with 48v 3A power supply resolves the issue. Update: Even with larger power supply, it still does not provide enough power for 8 cameras. Even 7 work unreliable. But the issue is easy to solve - buy a quality POE switch and connect cameras through it. The box supports it - just connect non-camera ethernet socket with the switch with ethernet cable. Another camera malfunctioned - it stopped emitting IR at night, so night time image become black. Amazon sales replacement cameras. Unfortunately, they are rather expensive.

Here is my testimonial after almost 3 years of ownership. Had the wiring run when my house was being built so I did not have to deal with that. Previous house had wireless cameras and they were a pain. Wired is the way to go. Software interface is a bit clunky, hence I am investigating an update. Picture quality is very good at default setting, but if I want to look at something in particular, I can easily switch it to HD mode and the picture is very clear. Nite vision is actually very good. When the grandkids come over, they always want to see whats on the cameras. The phone/tablet app works very well for that regard. The PC app also works well in my office. Use the cameras all the time to investigate what that sound was I just heard outside or to check the sky for weather. Have used them several times to provide video to law enforcement when they request info for specific times and dates when something has happened (car stolen from neighbors house in the early morning hours, etc). Overall, great product, good value, great price.

I have used my system for about 6 months and very happy with all aspects of the Zosi 8 camera security system. I returned home from a trip and 2 of my cameras were not working, I'm thinking this is going to be a nightmare dealing with this online. I contacted Zosi support and Slina was my helper, she directed me through some test to run and remember this took several days but each day there was an email with directions and always so nice. After all the test I was emailed a return label to send them back and 10 days later I received 2 brand new cameras. When I hooked up the new cameras I did have to delete all cameras and reinstall for the dvr ( video on u tube ). There was even a last email making sure this fixed everything and I had no trouble installing. Very happy and Thank You Slina
