This well-ventilated quality muzzle can be very useful in many situations and everyday use - visits to a vet, traveling, off-leash walks, preventing eating off the ground, yet allow for panting and drinking, providing the ultimate in comfort and safety for both the dog and owner or trainer. Well-fitting, light weight, soft and comfortable, but strong and durable. The straps are adjustable and won't stretch. Equipped with between the ears strap and is very difficult for the dog to remove, they do not slip off accidentally very easily. Please measure snout circumference and length for fit.

Great muzzle! First one my GSD tolerates!
Got this for my 113 lb German Shepherd who doesn't like going to the vet... and doesn't care for strangers. (Otherwise he's a big baby!) Our vet is wonderful and patient with him but you can't take a risk ... we used the solid leather muzzle they had at the office but he couldn't open his mouth with it on, plus it smelled like many other dogs.. yuck! We finally found this muzzle and took him to the vet last week. He was a totally different dog. He let the techs take him back to be weighed AND clip his nails... before, with that other muzzle (and without!) he would fight and fight to get away... completely throwing me around - doc couldn't even look in his ear! But this time, he was great! First time in almost 3 years we had a vet visit that didn't leave us in a sweat & all stressed out! This muzzle feels strong but soft and comfortable to the touch, and it must feel that way to him, too!

I'm giving it 3 stars because it was nice looking. However I have a 8 month old german shepherd that when we tried it on he was able to remove it quickly, and he didn't have room to open his mouth.

The muzzles have worked great, girls don't really think they like them, but the do wear them when they are misbehaving and have learned to get along a lot better. The quality is very good on the muzzles as well. Thank you

Other people have complained about possible chemicals used in the leather causing irritation on the dogs face. I'm seeing that too. It got to the point where my dog who loves walks would hide and cower when it was walk time. I've gone back to using a cheap plastic muzzle until I can find a proper upgrade. Aside from that, the product seems well made but I can't use it

Dog Ate Through It
Our German Shepherd broke four of the straps as he removed it from his head with his paws. However, it still deserves 5 stars, because it is well made, and looks nice. Unfortunately, the leather is somewhat too brittle, and thin for our dog.
