Is this machine a high shank or low?

I don't own this machine but have used them. I'm almost certain it's a high shank, most industrial machines are. I suggest finding the model # if its possible & do a web search. It should tell you everything you need to know for more accuracy.

Does it sew veg tan leather?

I’m sure it would.. you would need the proper needle
