Everyday Minerals Set and Perfect Finishing Dust

I have extremely sensitive and acne-prone skin, as well as sensitivity to perfumes. I have been using Everyday Minerals concealer powder and this finishing dust for several years and hope they keep making these products forever, because they are super gentle, have little to no scent, and do a great job.

It did a great job mattifying and I found that it evened out my skintone on days I don't wear foundation. I'm taking two stars off because a) it looks powdery when I look in the mirror outside, I can see it on top of my skin and b) it oxidized on me no matter how I prep my skin. I won't repurchase.

Edits: I originally gave this three stars and am leaving that review intact below. However, my opinion changed the longer I used the product and I've had to stop using it altogether. There's something in this mix that leaves white flecks on your skin. I don't know how to explain it any better. I was out a while back and someone pointed out that I had white spots all over my jawline and upper neck. I looked at it and thought maybe the makeup had combined with my sweat or something (it was like 100 degrees out that day). It was weird... like patches of crystalized white stuff. Another time, someone asked me if I had been painting. I went to the bathroom and looked and had little white flecks on my face. These are things I didn't see when I first applied the powder in my bathroom at home, so I don't know if I just wasn't diligent or what, but once people started pointing it out (so embarrassing), I became really diligent about examining the coverage before I left home. No dice. The weird white spots would emerge after I left home. Was it the lighting and I missed it at first? Did the powder just not play nice with my other cosmetics? I don't know. Either way, I eneded up having to throw away the rest of the product.Original Review:I normally wear Physician's Formula, but the color I get seems to be out of stock everywhere and I was trying to avoid going to the store. I have sensitive skin- I break out in rashes with lots of products and develop acne easily, so the more natural a product is, the better. I've tried lots of different loose powders over the years... perhaps I should have held out for the one I knew, trusted, and liked.The first thing I noticed is that this package is really small. Maybe it contains the same amount of powder as others and it's just a packaging thing, but it seems much smaller than what I normally get. The second thing I noticed is that mine did not come with an applicator- you have to use your own.As far as coverage goes... meh. I really didn't get the smooth even coverage I normally get with Physician's Formula. On the bright side, it agreed with my skin and I didn't have any kind of reaction to it.That in mind, I won't buy this again, but I don't necessarily think it's a bad product. It could work for you if you aren't relying on it to even out your skintone or don't want a "finished" look. It's very light and natural.

I LOVE this product! I have very oily skin and this has helped tremendously! I put it on top of my liquid foundation and I stay matte all day! Would highly recommend!

I set my makeup with this daily and it works very well. It starts out the tiniest bit powdery looking, but within an hour it melts into the skin. On super hot days, I bake my T-zone and cheeks for a shine free 8 hours.

Very nice light finishing powder. Totally vegan. Easy on skin. I’ve been using Everyday Minerals finishing powder for years........ I swear by it. Love it!!
