OPI Crystal Nail File

I like this nail file so much that I will never use a cardboard or metal file ever again. I bought this brand for the quality and the good reviews. This file is a little bit thicker than I am used to using but it still works well. It files your nail nice and smooth. It takes a lot off with every swipe so be careful to not rush it and end up filing too much of your nail down. This file does not leave any grit behind like the cardboard files do. I take great care of my file by washing it after use and I store it in the container that it came in. I told my husband he is not allowed to use this one, not even for a second. It is too expensive and I worry that he will break it. I leave my metal filed that I used to use on the counter in a container so they are easy for him to access. This prevents him from digging around in my stuff and getting his hands on my nice new file.

I read about this OPI crystal nail file in a beauty article I receive in my email. It was rated as the top nail file to use. I was happy to find it on Amazon. This is truly a gem to have. It takes very little effort when filing my nails with it. The end result is the smoothest nails I’ve ever experienced & with very little effort. It comes in a its own container specifically designed to hold it. Since this is crystal based I would suggest filing delicately when using. For me filing my nails is part of my self care so I take my time. I could foresee it easily breaking if used with force or dropping it. This is truly a 5 star & beyond nail filer with longevity & well worth the cost. I highly recommend it!

This works good. Way better than any other glass nail files I’ve had

I have had thin, peeling nails for years. They would start to grow out and as soon as they got any length to them they would peel apart and I'd be back to square one. Then because they had already peeled, they would grow out very thin and would be flexible and useless. Don't recall how I came across the idea of the crystal nail file but once I found it, it seemed like it couldn't hurt to try as it would be a cheaper easier solution to the problem then buying all sorts of nail supplements or polishes, etc. My nail file showed up about a month ago and I got to using it right away. Holy moly this thing is great! Not a single nail has peeled since I've been using it and since I've been diligent about keeping my nails moisturized and buffed these past few weeks the results are amazing. My nails are smooth and longer than they've ever been without polish. This is a great nail file for anyone wanting to go all natural with their nailcare. Add a cuticle cream and a two sided nail buffer to this and your nails are all set! Oh, and yeah - it's glass, so of course it's going to break if you drop it, just like any other thing made out of glass. So just be careful. It's worth it.

File is ok. Cost is not worth it. My local store stopped selling them. But somehow my first order with Amazon got auto reorder every 90 days. I changed it on their site when they sent the first one. But just got an email saying they are not available on a new reorder. I canceled the order, but can't find option to change. As if it would work. Please get it stopped or email me directions.

I have always had the hardest time with my fingernails and toenails. My fingernails are very weak and soft, and they split easily. I keep them very short because I don't like to play the piano with much, if any, nail extending past the bed. It is not uncommon for me to clip in too far. Filing with a metal file is hard on my nails, and leaves them feeling funny. My toenails are the complete opposite of my fingernails. They are not soft, and are difficult to cut.This file has been a Godsend. I have not cut my fingernails for three weeks now. Simply filing them a couple of times a week keeps them short enough for me to play the piano comfortably, and I don't have to worry about clipping down into the quick. The file leaves them smooth, without the shredding that occurred with the metal file. I have been treating a severely split nail (way down into the nailed) for several months now. Finally I was able to smooth out the split place and it is no longer catching on things. The file has worked equally well on my toenails. For the first time my toenails are straight across, without any chips or splits. I've been using this nail file for years. I've finally decided to buy another one. I've used other brands, cheaper brands, and they aren't made like this one. They've ruined my nails and I'm going to have to throw them out because they've just made my nails more brittle. They don't glide along the nail like this file. The "splurge" is worth it according to me!
