This is The One!
I am very happy with this chin strap. It keeps my mouth closed while I wear my CPAP mask. On Sept 12, 2023 I bought my first one. It is showing some wear. Recently, I wanted another one as a Back-up. I clicked on the Buy Again link and found it had been discontinued. So I was forced to try EIGHT others. But they were either too small, too stiff, the fabric irritated my skin or did not fit due to poor design. So I searched using the manufacture's name, Yootar. And I found it at a higher price, repackaged with ear plugs. Yes, the fabric stretches a bit because I have a large head. But it is cool, does not irritate my skin and works. It is well worth the higher price. I am still in love with it.

Didn't work
Bottom line: it didn't work to keep my mouth closed while I sleep, so it's basically useless. The overall quality is poor. It's just cheaply made. The holes for the ears are just raggedly snipped through the fabric. The velcro fasteners are the kind on plastic, not soft cloth, and they are glued on with a single row of about a half-dozen stitches as reinforcement. When I first opened it, it smelled like some kind of VOC solvent, and it took 2 washes with extra rinsing and then several days of airing out before I could use it.The plus side is that it wasn't uncomfortable to wear, but that hardly matters when it failed in its primary purpose: it didn't keep my mouth shut while I slept. I tried it a second night with the velcro set tighter. It still didn't work. Still snoring, still waking up with a dry mouth.Complete failure. Waste of money.

Very stretchy
I found this to be well made. Stitching is good and fabric stays cool when worn. The velcro works well but, because the fabric is very stretchy, the velcro isn't long enough to attach in an area that would fit smaller head sizes. Basically you're all set if you've got a big head but not so much otherwise.

I love these, great stretch, comfy, secure
I am a snorer, and have used these straps for years. Tried others, used to use ones that were much thicker and not as breathable. Once I found these, was one happy camper. They are breathable yet strong, very easily adjustable, keeps my jaw closed. One night last week I forgot to put mine on, and woke up 2-3 times during the night with the driest mouth. At 4pm realized what I did, slipped it on, and woke up several hours later with no issues whatsoever. If you snore, and wake up with a bone dry mouth, do yourself a favor and use these. Yes, you look funny, but it only takes a day or 2 to get used to it, and you sleep much better.I can't imagine not having them.

Keeps my mouth closed
I have been experiencing unbearable dry mouth at night and have tried sprays and lozenges which haven't helped. The mouth breathing is too much for the lozenge to keep up with so I decided to try a chin strap. I picked this because it is lightweight and breathable. I live in the AZ desert and I have hot flashes. The combination of chin strap and xylitol melts has been the only thing that works! The strap is definitely light weight. The velcro makes it easy to adjust. There was an adjustment period of trying to find the best fit and a little soreness under the chin but that went away. It just needed broken in. Any headaches or jaw discomfort mean it needs readjusted. I found that the strap for the jaw has to be directly under the jaw, not partially in front like some of the pics. I first had it that way and experienced jaw pain. For me, it pushed my jaw back, causing the pain. One other time I was getting a headache. I loosened one of the straps and felt relief instantly. Now when I put it on, I can tell if I have it adjusted properly just by the feel.Sometimes during the night I have to tighten the top strap. I think it's swelling that goes down because when I put it on the next night, I have to loosen it. When I take it off I only undo the back strap, not the top.I had a cpap machine and the strap was thin enough to work with it.The only cons is that the velcro sticks to my $120 pillow and has ruined it. If you have a cooling pillow beware of that.I will be buying another so I have one to wear while the other is hanging to dry.

Doesn't fit right
Not the one was looking for and ended up going back to using my old one. Too flimsy to keep the chin closed at night under or over a cpap mask.

No rough fabric!
After several different model chin straps over several years, I came to say that this one is the best! It fits perfectly and has no exposed velcro which is important to me because my eye cover got caught in the velcro of my older chin strap til they destroyed each other. This one doesn't seem to tighten during the night like a python either. It's awesome!

this chin strap does not work and it is ‘scratchy’ as well
I have not had a chin strap for years quite a while but my old one was simply a Velcro strap that went from chin to the top of my head and worked fine. Lately I have really been getting dry mouth so I thought I would finally but a chin strap. I mistakenly thought this would be better than the old simpler style. Not! Instead, the chin piece pushed my chin back and allowed my mouth to open - halfway through the night it became so uncomfortable that I just ‘ripped’ it off. The fabric was very scratchy and uncomfortable. It’s too late to return it, I tried it only once but didn’t remember to do the return on Amazon. So there goes $12 down the drain. Hopefully someone at the Goodwill will find it useful, new in box.I re-read the good reviews and none of the benefits touted on those applied to my experience whereas the bad reviews met my worst fears. I would advise not to buy this product - I’m going now to look for something that will work.
