JeremySportTrendyMax Galaxy Pattern Grade Backpack for Elementary Kids

This backpack is the one my 5-year-old picked for the start of kindergarten this fall. It's beautiful and vibrant; the quality is excellent, with padded straps, water-resistant material and sturdy, comfortable zipper pulls. It has pockets on each side and a zipper pouch in front, and it is the perfect size for a child in the lower primary grades. It is big enough to hold all his school supplies, but not so big that it looks TOO big on him. This was important to me-- I work in an elementary school and when a 5-7-year-old wears a backpack sized for a middle-school-aged child and said backpack gets crammed full of stuff (because the bag WILL accumulate stuff until it's filled, whether it's big, small, or somewhere in between - it seems to be an unwritten rule), all of a sudden you have a small child straining under way too much backpack. This one is perfect. If you have a child older than 7 or 8, you will probably want to choose a larger option, but for the younger crowd, this bag is a cool-looking, comfortable and size-appropriate option.

A well-made product. My elementary school kid has been using it for about a month. He likes the pockets. The zippers seem sturdy . Hoping it stands the test of time and will last all year.

This back pack is cute but feels and looks a little cheap once we opened it up. Doesn't feel like it's going to last all school year, but we will see.

Got this for back to school.and my sons loves it! The only complaint he had was it was a little smaller than he was expecting but he still uses it and works great.

the size was perfect, doesn't sag, not bulky or oversized, straps are snug to back for good support. The simple practical design, pockets & sturdiness is just what we hoped to get for our kindergartener. lunch box can fit when not overloaded with books. galaxy design is a bonus with our science loving learner!
