VoltEdge TX30 Game & Go Headset for PS4, Xbox One, PC, Stereo Over Ear Gaming Headphones, Awesome Comfort and Sound

Bought this for my husband who is a 60+ hardcore PC gamer. The description these were for use with PC, but these have a 3.5 mm earphone jack, no USB. Plus the cord is extremely short(also no length listed in product description) so he was unable to use them. Not wanting to take the time to send them back, I decided to try to use it for my Playstation 4. The results were very disappointing. The sound quality was fair, but the volume adjustment is extremely limited. They simply are not loud enough, even when turned all the way up and with system settings turned up on max. Mic is extremely flimsy construction as well, definitely not recommended for kids. I am going to return them. Just wanted others to be aware.

I bought the TX30s to compare them to my pair of Astro A10s. I would say that after using them for a few sessions, I prefer the TX30s over my pair of Astros. The sounds is comparable, however, the TX30s are a bit more comfortable and they fit my head better than the Astros. I would recommend this going forward.

These headphones are the best bang for your buck! The sound quality is great, they are well structured, and mic is clear. I purchased the PS4 version of the headphones, tested if the mic works on my Xbox, and it does! Probably the best about the buy.

Product is perfectly priced and a great value. I have been using the headset for about a week now and has great sound quality, the comfort is solid for short or longer gaming sessions, and simple and easy to use mic and controls.

The plastic connecting the earmuff to the headband is so cheap that it snapped under little pressure after about 6 days of use. I was able to deal with it by using tape, but the other plastic connector snapped too. This makes the headset not very usable, and I'm going to have to use some Duct strap just to get it to a working length without falling apart. I would not recommend spending money on this unless you want to put excessive care into making sure the cheap plastic doesn't snap during transport or in use during your leisure. Also, even with the earmuffs extended out fully, they barely managed to cover my ears. This was only magnified after having one snap off.
