Excellent Computer Armoire
We love this computer armoire. It fits in with our furniture and is a nice piece of furniture. It is just right for our computer.

Perfect for what it is and for its price, but with a few minor defects
Love it, but it did have a small manufacturing defect (cost them a star). The veneer on the edge of one piece was peeling right out of the box - nothing a hot iron and some tin foil couldn't fix, but you'd expect not to have to do that. The instructions are humorous and obviously written by an english speaker (YEAH!) but not always as clear as they could be - take your time putting it together. If you are experienced at putting flat pack furniture together, this thing goes together pretty easy, but it is a little tricky in spots. Pay extra special attention when you do the door handles - it is easy to get them crooked. The only other down sides (aside from the manufacturing defect) is the narrow space for the monitor (you can still put a larger monitor in, but it then covers up all the space behind), and the keyboard shelf. The shelf needs a narrow strip of trim/wood on the back and the sliders were pretty cheap - if you are looking to hack this thing - start with beefing those up and nail a one inch piece of fingerboard or trim to the back of the keyboard shelf. You will find out why if you have a wireless mouse, after you spend a lot of time fishing it out from behind your computer when it goes flying off the back of the shelf everytime you slid it in to close the cabinet.

Good cheap alternative for a clean look
It uses cams and is particle board. So I use liquid nails on all the joints and even the back. Still I would increase support/strength for the corners to add rigidity. Glue, pre drill and screw everything, except the back which is nailed. But I still glued it. Adds rigidity. The design is out of date. Who uses 17-19” monitors anymore. So I modified. See pic.I got this because the wife likes the clean look. Just keep in mind if you close the doors the pc can get hot. Use a balanced power setting so the pc can go to sleep and cool off.The pc case is the cooler master nr600 for size comparison. It is tight but just makes it. I did have to cut out a little bit more in the back to make room for the case to slide back further with all the cables. The monitor is the scepter Sceptre E255B-1658A 24.5" and the speakers are the creative labs t10 series. Printer is a brother HLL2390DW printer.

Great for the Value!
I had my doubts since the first shipment arrived damaged - I didn't even need to open the package. The replacement shipment came promptly and perfectly too.I'd single-handedly, completely assembled the armoire in about 1.5 hours. The instructions were very well written. It's definitely not a piece of furniture that will survive a few moves. Nevertheless, it's functional. . .albeit a bit on a smaller side (it is less than 5 feet tall). Someone mentioned that it's about the size of a 5-drawer dresser (agreed). I liked the size since it's not imposing - it's not meant to be a statement piece. It is a bit difficult to line up the doors. . . The veneer is quite soft and easily nicked if not careful. The partitions on top don't really give much vertical space for books after considering room taken by the monitor. It might really be best suited for a laptop. I was hoping for enough length and width for dual monitor set up with a small laptop. I may need to lose the monitor.I really like how I can hide the desk away so that it would look like a bedroom again - helps with the separation of work and sleep. Overall, I'm quite happy about the purchase. Great value for the price. Not too shabby!

Just What I Was Looking For!
This is really just what I needed. It is not too large, but has enough room for my full-size desktop computer, 29" monitor, laser printer, and even my speakers and subwoofer (That was a surprise!). I can't say that it is high quality, but considering the price, it is not bad. Though it is veneered particle board, it looks pretty good. I have been using it for a few days and figure it should hold up to light to moderate use.All the hardware was in the box. I only needed a screwdriver. It was not difficult to assemble; the instructions were excellent, but there were a lot of parts, so it took an afternoon for me to finish it. Warning! The box is heavy! I had to help the Fed Ex delivery man to move it into the house. Once it was in the house, I unloaded it piece by piece and assembled it in the room I bought it for. Note: I'm a 65-year-old female. An especially nice feature, is that the doors open all the way back against the sides, so they aren't hanging out when it is open. I was also able to use an outlet strip/surge protector set on top of my computer to plug all my components into, so that all I had coming out the back was the one cord from the outlet strip. Very neat and clean.I am very pleased with this purchase!

Good quality, nice hardware, great instructions!
My husband assembled this in a few hours and raved about the instructions and packaging. While it takes some effort to assemble, it is a nice looking desk armoire and good quality for the money. My only complaints are the magnets are at the top and the handles are in the middle of the door so it feels a little awkward to pull open. Also, while the door handles are nice and solid, they stick out pretty far and bang when you open them all the way. Other than those small details, I definitely recommend the Sauder Harvest Mill Computer Armoire, Abbey Oak finish.

Great Armoire!
I have had this computer armoire for more than two years now and it's still in excellent condition. It is the perfect thing for a small room, if you have a desk top that you need to keep neat and organized. There are places for your tower, a printer, printer paper, speakers, a modem...pretty much anything you would use with a computer. There is also plenty of space to use it as a desk. You can just slip the keyboard under the desk and have plenty of room to write in front of the computer. There are four cubbies, three of which are empty (the fourth is for CDs). The other three have plenty of room for office supplies. I actually bought some office organizing products on Amazon that fit perfectly (KINGFOM was the brand). I cannot say how easy or hard it was to put together, because we had a handy man do it - but he got it all set up in an hour and it has worked perfectly ever since. It was a such a great purchase - I am very happy with it!
