We use this ottoman for storage, and as as step for our dogs to get onto the bed. We were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the ottoman. Screwing the wooden legs is all the assembly required and it was no problem, took a minute or two, the box is sturdy, thick, and strong, and the leatherette fabric show no signs of wear after a lot of dog wear. It's an attractive ottoman, and we've gotten complements on its appearance.

I got two of these to replace some cloth storage cubes, and have no regrets. They look upscale, are a good height for couch foot ottoman, and they were easy to set up. Just put the legs on and the scratch resistant pads included. I recommend and would definitely buy again.

We needed something to provide nice support for lounging that wasn't too bulky and matched our top grain leather sectional. Hesitant about the quality at this price we were delighted upon receipt and IMMEDIATELY ordered a second worrying about a risk of sell-out. The tone is a timeless dark roast coffee bean brown. Construction is solid but easy to lift or shift to the side when you want to get up. If you have laminate/wood flooring or a prized area rug then you may want to invest in those little gliders to prevent scratching or pulls. The interior of the cube fits a throw blanket (or two!) magazines, remotes and there's still room for more. The lid closes softly so there's no BAM when you grab your blanket. The legs screw on when you unbox but they could easily be left off if you need something shorter or prefer the modern floor pouf look. The top is pleasant for kicking up feet and for perching upon. This ottoman acts as lounger, storage chest and occasional seating with ample space. It's rather shockingly nice given the price point. Durability will be a test of time but one has already taken the force of a dead-weight, crash landing from a trip over an area rug and it didn't creak, give way or make a sound. In it was a forceful drop from a less-than-light person. You almost never see accessory furniture perform so well.

Great quality footrest and Ottoman in one! Has a lid which opens up to a nice storage area. Very sturdy and blends nicely with real leather furniture. Perfect size and light weight to move around when needed.

Nice color, looks like real leather. Love the storage feature. Keeps its shape, easy to put the legs on. No smell. Nice to be able to use as an additional seat, sturdy. Edit: after 4 months of light use a button is super loose and a seam is splitting at the threads

These ottomans were shipped quickly, came in perfect condition, and look great. The only thing I would change is that the tops are completely covered on the inside, rather than being hollow. Our previous ottomans had hollow tops which allowed my to store a few large notebooks in upright position, which made them much easier to place and remove. However, that's very specific to our use case. JFYI. They seem like a good product and I'm hopeful that the PU leather will last several years. (Note: PU leather is not real leather and will not last as long as real leather. But, real leather will cost you about 4-5x. PU leather is just a different material that's priced accordingly. Know what you're getting and what you're not getting and set your expectations accordingly. Having said that, we got at least 10 yrs. out of our last PU leather ottomans. That's not a bad deal. And, when they start to fail, you can buy replacement covers (typically velvet these days) for under $20 each and give your ottoman a second life.) I didn't bother to post pictures because the ottomans delivered look exactly like the pictures posted by the seller. Recommended for anyone who wants/needs ottomans with the look of leather and the price of these.

This replaced a 15+ year old ottoman that looked very similar in color, size, shape and design. This HomePop ottoman is actually firmer for resting tired legs and feet than our old one was when it was new. The "vinyl" material used seems solid and thick enough to hold up to much wear and use. The flip lid has good hardware and the spring loaded hinges hold the lid up as needed very adequately. Having storage in this just like our old one is a great feature since otherwise, that space is wasted. We often store favorite winter items in there and it's so handy to know exactly where they are stored and where items can be easily accessed as needed. 5 stars all around. As other reviewers have noted, this is a really nice ottoman for the low price. I don't think many of these get returned to Amazon. Ours is a keeper for sure!

I bough this to replace a worn out ottoman & I couldn't be happier. It is very durable & well made. Looks stylish. The best part is storing my blankets on the inside.

Let’s be honest - if you’re shopping for furniture on Amazon…you’re on a tight budget. Moreover, quality is not your top priority. As such my expectations for this little storage ottoman were low…not expecting RH sort of robustness for this kind of dough. But…wow I gotta say this is way better than I expected. Now, let’s not get carried away here. This is not a high quality piece of furniture. It’s just much better than I expected for the price and on this site. The vinyl is fine, the stitching and seams are all together, the buttons have stayed on so far. The legs were easy to attach. The inside is a black cheesecloth type material and is neatly made. The hinges and strut (or whatever you call the thing that holds it open) are the real surprise though. I expected these to be complete garbage, but they are smooth and sturdy, not “janky” at all. The lid stays up when you want it up, without worry or it slamming shut on your fingers. That’s a plus. The top cushion is alright. Comfortable enough to sit on for a while, but not life changing. Overall very satisfied with my purchase.

Update- All the seams are pulling apart on the top. Have only used it as a footstool so it’s very disappointing. Used it for less than a month now :( Perfect colour, matches our very dark brown couch well. Seems to be sturdy. Less expensive than other ottomans at the same price. Was worried when I saw other reviews about it falling apart over time, so a little worried about that. Had it for over a week and seems good.
