No matter the time of year, these crushed peppermint candies alway look great ! No more mess and loud noises trying to crush candies in a food processor.

I bought this to use on both peppermint cupcakes and chocolate peppermint cookies and the pieces were the perfect size for this. The original recipes called for crushing candy canes with a hammer which I tried. These pieces are not only 1000 times more convenient, but they are smaller than the ones I made from candy canes - which everyone approved when tasting the baked goods.

I love that these use natural dyes instead of chemical ones. Delicious peppermint flavor, great crunch, and no messy crushing anything with a rolling pin. Better than similar store-bought products I've found. I will absolutely buy this again instead of store products for future baking needs.

I know it may be a bit "pricey" but I've tried the others. I will pay the price

Unwrapping and crushing candy canes to get the peppermint for other uses is a huge pain that takes forever. Also many packaged peppermint pieces are a different consistency than crushed candy canes and don't work in recipes that same way. This product solves my problem. The pieces are consistently small sized, crunchy and just right for making peppermint ice cream, sprinkling on top of cake frosting, dusting on top of whipped cream on hot chocolate, making peppermint bark, and other such uses when you want a bright peppermint taste. Some peppermint piece products are the consistency of chocolate chips, creamy rather than crunchy. Others are a puff style that crush into dust. I've gotten all by mistake in the past. I want crushed candy canes and this is it. I also want it to pour easily without the pieces being fused together. Again this is a winner.

Crushed candy canes are the best for a festive dessert. I love to put them in fudge and give them out with my cookies as gifts to my neighbors. Its always a huge hit!
