Yellow Rice Shrimp - 8 pack

I ordered Green Jade (6ea.) and Yellow Rice Shrimp (8ea.) and instead I got x5 Green Jade x7 Yellow Rice (maybe 6 and one is actually more of an orange, see photos attached) and one that is most definitely a Blue Dream Neo. {Like this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09K3WX2TM/ref=cm_sw_r_awdo_GT4PVM9BSS7EW1NT1CQF , again see photo attached}I already have a pretty diverse and thriving community of shrimp in my tank and have at least 4 other Blue Dreams. All this being said, I did read the disclaimer and I know that shipping may cause some stress and loss of color. They arrived on 4/20 (lol) and I will update this review if any are lost or if this little blue cutie turns out to be a beautiful jade instead. A little disappointed that I didn’t get a full order of shrimp though, I was outright missing a green and one yellow, possibly two. I think this just comes down to QC. I made sure to check the sponges and even kept them in the quarantine tank for the time being, just in case. Side note: The attached pictures are from a clean stainless steel bowl i used to slowly bring the water up to temp while adding tank water 50% at a time and it worked a treat, nice slow and even temp change given it’s not too warm in their new home. Lastly, these poor little babies arrived suuuuper hungry, as evidenced by the pictures I added a few granules of Sera shrimp food and they all immediately flocked to them and chowed down for the entirety of the suggested acclimation period, they made short work of everything pictured.All this being said, I’m not all that upset about all of this, and in fact I plan on ordering from Aqua Huna again and tacking some new fish on while I’m at it.I must praise them for all shrimp arriving alive and even well ahead of their expected ship-out date. They all look healthy and happy as shrimp could be other than being hungry hungry hippos. Thank you Aqua Huna for the order and I honestly appreciate all of you. As mentioned I will update in the future with an update 🤙🏼 Look forward to ordering again

I was wary about ordering live animals online! Also, I know with all that is going on in the world that shipping from Amazon is a little delayed,so was worried about that as well. However, even with the delay, all the shrimp arrived alive and well. They looked great (nice colors and variety of sizes.)The only cons:There was a black sponge piece in the bag (something to hold on to I assume). The water was filled with black particles which I assumed was from the sponge. I don't know if that could affect their health, but adding them to the tank was a little tricky.I have been researching buying shrimp online and many places add a DOA +1 or 2 to their orders. Something to think about.All in all, I would buy again.

I've ordered two 8-packs of these shrimp and all arrived quickly and alive. They have for the most part proven durable and healthy as well. However, in both 8-packs there was only one female shrimp. Even accounting for random distribution there should have been more than just over 10% females. not ideal if you are trying to start a little colony.

Product came much quicker than I thought which was great, but they were pale in color and two out of eight shrimp have died within the first 24 hours. I have other shrimp in the tank that are exceptionally well and I have experience with aquatic life, so I made sure to acclimate them well and as stress free as possible, and since there are no "guarantee" shrimp given as extra just in case, this is incredibly disappointing as they are not cheap. I've contacted the seller, awaiting response.

You can tell that the quality of the shrimp is great. Very healthy, came in very clean water. I was short one and they immediately gave me a credit.

Great quality.I didn’t realize they were left at the post office for me.They spent a day there before I realized and it was no problem at all!Even once I picked the up, my tank wasn’t ready so they stayed in the bag for two more days: A-ok, the apparently can stay in there for up to 14 days.But, boy, were they happy to escape!It came with 7 shrimp, not all bright yellow but some.The ones with the brighter colors had more of a yellow stripe.They are perky, happy and went straight to eating up algae in the tank.Ordered a second batch in blue,Looking forward to them.

I have ordered at least 5 packs of shrimp from Aqua Huna and they always come in healthy. I've only had 2 shrimp arrive dead but I was refunded after showing a photo. Half of the tike you get a couple of bonus shrimp amyway. I highly recommend ordering their shrimp.

I just received my shipment today. They arrived faster then I expected. The shrimps were packaged in a secure box and insulated with napkins inside a foam box. All 8 yellow and 8 blue shrimp I order all arrived alive and safe today. So I'm happy for that. It was my first time ever buying anything live on Amazon and didn't know what to expect. Also the shrimp looks to still be juvenile which is awesome bc I can watch them grow into adults. I definitely recommend ordering from here and will order again soon.
