It worked perfectly for me. I needed an affordable full HD 1080p camera and this was exactly what I expected. I use it for streaming and video chatting, it performs very well. The setup was simple, plug and play, also it clips on monitor well and holds solid. I tested it in my living room against my extra wide sofa and it could capture the whole thing. The image quality is crisp and clear, no motion delay. Sound is good to those you may be speaking to, the mic picks up conversations all across the room. It comes with a rotatable clip and underneath has a tripod screw in, this is extremely useful and versatile. I am extremely happy and have zero complaints. I recently wanted to purchase a second webcam and this was my first choice because of how reliable it has been. If you’re looking for a live stream camera or just a better video chatting one this is it. Would highly recommend.

I picked this one after a good amount of research and I am very happy. Inexpensive and looks nice, Super easy to set up, Plug and play. Folding option is great for portability and swivel makes it easy to mount and position, and I must say that it has much better quality than my old webcam, Mic works fine and the picture quality is great! One of my favorite things about this camera is that it comes with a free camera cover and tripod!!!

Alright, I needed a video camera to chat with my folks. I've never heard of this brand but it was 26.00 dollars and supposedly streams 1080p at 30 fps. Back in the day, I had a Logitech and used Yahoo messenger (Which is no more] So I had to look for a new chat application. Skype was the one I've heard of Discord is the most popular. We tried Google Duo. Discord does work well. but we settled on Zoom. This camera works amazingly well compared to my old Logitech and the mic is ok. The color is very good there is no lag the lens has a pretty wide angle so 4 people can fit in the view. If I was to do Youtube videos I would get a better camera and a Blue Microphone. This camera though is really good for 26.00 dollars and will work fine for chatting it up with family and friends. It is plug and play and the packaging when you get it is just a box the only thing in the box is the camera. When I first received this I was like is this all? Yep, but that's all you need and good customer support. The only gripe I have about this camera is there is no camera shutter to keep hackers from getting a plain view. There is a green light that shows when it is on, but still.. As Bob Barker and Flossy might say "The Price Is Right " Buy it for just chatting and hanging out with your friends.Competitive gaming or having " The Edge" get a Steelseries headset to go along with this camera.

I hated my MacBook camera for work meetings. It was always gray and grainy. I bought a few cameras to test because I wasn't sure what would work with a MacBook. (Turns out, they all did,. If you have issues, you usually need to wait a minute and then make sure the right camera is selected in your preferences.) The Spedal 100-degree was better than my Mac camera but the picture had a yellow tint and felt tight. I tried the Spedal 120-degree, which was a better image quality, but it was fisheyed and distorted. I then tried this one, the Avater 110 degree. Heads and shoulders better! The wider angle is nice and doesn't seem distorted. The lighting autocorrects and is AMAZING! My co-workers actually commented that my lighting was spectacular and asked if I invested in a face light. Nope, just this lovely camera! Highly highly recommend after testing several.

Item itself seems of decent quality and very easy to install...plug in, wait for a moment, and then you should be good to go. Picture is ok, but was unable to get mic to work on my ChromeOS. Unsure if the mic is defective/faulty or just does not work on ChromeOS. My voice wasn't being picked up by the mic and was inaudible on the other end of call. I sent it back for a refund.

I ordered this camera for teaching online school. It was easy to install and worked great with Teams and Zoom. I used it for the entire fall semester. Then after four months something happened and it stopped working. Tried it with all my different computers, tested, reloaded, etc to get it to work. When all else failed, I contacted Avatar to see if there was a warranty. They graciously apologized for my issues and immediately sent out a new one. Got the new replacement quickly and the camera works great. I love that kind of response and care from customer service.

Our son is in his 8th year of an online charter school. They use cameras a lot of the time but really wanted to inforce the kids using them this year because he is now in Highschool. This is a great camera. The picture quality is wonderful. Not sure how the microphone works on it because we have an external mic that he uses. It really does pick up a lot of the background in the camera, which is fine since we have a seperate office/classroom and it picks up everything in the room. The quality is clear and there isnt any lag.

Terrible quality on both the mic and the video. Was a nightmare to set up and get working.

The product arrives on time. I use this product for zoom meeting and the picture look good. It is of good quality.

Microphone doesnt sound good nor work well on Windows 10 as of may 2025
