Soup rice cake with rice flour of domestic (Tok). Good taste of permeability, so crunchy enough, it does Mase melts without causing boiled collapse. Soup, of course, stew, stir-fry, etc., it can be used widely. Since slices of, so easy to fire the street, even in fried stock. Topped with cheese baked in the Korean rice cake pizza in the oven.

Excellent pantry addition for lovers of asian-style cooking
After learning to make a few Korean dishes with Blue Apron, I purchased some of the ingredients as additions to our pantry. Unfortunately, these rice cakes were unusually difficult to find. I turned to Amazon and there they were. Be mindful that these rice cakes are not the same as what most Americans consider to be rice cakes (puffy round snacks). These should be rehydrated in liquid and it is sometimes better to prep them separately before adding into soup, stir fry, etc. For us, these serve as a rice or pasta substitute or to add more bulk to soups and/or stir fry and other asian-style dishes.

Rice "pasta" with a chewy texture. We love them!
I discovered a recipe through Blue Apron that is a Korean theme "pork ragu" with these rice "noodles". You cook them, like pasta, and they have a chewy texture. I almost fainted when I discovered my local Asian grocery store sells these (refrigerated) for three times the portion for less than $3.00. I supposed if you can't find them in your home town, then go ahead and pay the price. They took a while to arrive, and everything is in Japanese. I cooked them in boiling water for 12 minutes and then drained them.

These rice cakes were an ingredient in a Korean recipe I wanted to try. For the most part they were too chewy for our taste, but a couple of them that had been crisped in the skillet were quite good. I will try pre-cooking them in boiling water, then making sure they are all well-browned.

Delish in ramen
Ordered these for my daughter for Christmas. She loves them in her ramen. They have a chewy texture and take on the flavor of the broth.

Nice and chewy!
Nice and chewy! No instructions in English, so only boil them for about 7-12 minutes. A bit expensive, but if you don't have any Asian stores to purchase from, this is the only option.

Yum
I baked these so they puffed up and got hard on the outside, and chewy on the inside. Then i made an incredible marinara sauce with assorted spicy peppers to eat with. A little too expensive to buy again for such a tiny bag, but otherwise, they tasted great.

Great chewy texture, quick arrival
I really liked the chewy texture, but a bit of a mouthful. The shipping\delivery was quick, 3 days. Price was okay seeing how I would have to drive over a hour to purchase from an Asian market. I would cut mine into more manageable size next use. I will order again.

Store package refrigerator after opening.
Pretty good if you brown them in a skillet before dropping them into soup. If you don't use the entire package, be sure to put the remainder into the refrigerator or they'll get moldy. No cooking instructions or storage instructions in English.
