I love this knife set. I wanted to buy a really nice set of knives to replace 30 year old mis-matched knives, but was limited on funds. I knew I wanted the weight and balance (feel) of the knives to be very much like Japanese made knives, not German, etc. made. I wanted the knife to balance in my hand properly. I didn't want to have to choke up on the blade with my hand like I have to with most knifes. After extensive online shopping, these looked like what I wanted. I took a chance and I love my purchase! The knives are amazing. They are easy to hold. Do not tire my hands. And, they cut everything like a dream!. I'm extremely happy with my purchase. These knives are a fantastic value for the price..

The media could not be loaded. The knives are sharp and they look great however whenever you drop the knife down after cutting what you need it falls with the blade up

Really nice quality for the price. Blades are sharp and the knives balanced and easy to grip. I really like how the blade/handle are all one piece - no more knives breaking in my hands.

Bought as a gift for my parents. Being an amateur knife smith the steel these are made of is one of the best. Very durable and holds an edge for a long time easy to sharpen using the edge maker.

Really nice knife that came out of the box very sharp. It is a gift for a family member, so I can't comment yet on long-term performance or how it will hold it's edge, but very satisfied so far. Only consideration would be there are a lot of comparable knife options out there for the same or lower price, and I couldn't find any solid reviews prior to purchase...time will tell.
