Rothco Backpack & Stool Combo Pack, Olive Drab

Let's get this out of the way: I'm 6'4" and 300 lbs. so when I say it holds my weight fine and it's comfortable, you see where I'm coming from. It's not a luxury executive chair with recliner and swivel options. But it's comfortable and made from durable canvas. I had one of almost the same design years ago which served me faithfully for many years before dying. Here's hoping I can say the same about this one. If my opinion changes, I'll update this review. Otherwise this is an excellent product.

This backpack is a must have for my family Disney Trip. We went there around Christmas, no surprise, a lot of people there. Eve we have fast pass, it's still terrible when waiting in a line for 30-40 minutes. Kids also easily get tired too.We are very happy as we bought this backpack + Stool Combo, it works perfectly for our Disney trip. With the help of this backpack, we were able to play 6 parks in 5 days, and we still feel not too tired on the feet. (of course need good shoes as well).This pack is around 3LB. Someone said it's small, but I would prefer this size since it's also not too heavy. The bigger the heavier, and it's against the usage of this kind of combo backpack.I am 210Lb, I can sit on this stool without problem. My 2 kids sometimess sit together on this stool.Before I went to Disney, I was wondering if the line would move too fast and I would not have chance to use such stool. Wrong! The line is not moving that fast and this stool still helps a lot!If you plan to have such a trip, get this backpack, you would love it and use it every day.Cons: The quality is not 100% perfect. The shoulder connection got loose on the 2nd day, but the bottom connection still works well. We can still use it for the rest 4 days, but I just wish they could redesign that shoulder part.Overall, 2 thumbs up for such great idea and great/not expensive backpack!!

I use this for my outdoor archery competitions. Sometimes the waits between targets can be lengthy. I can store anything I need to take, and it is sturdy enough for me to sit on any terrain. Heavy duty enough to withstand all the abuse it has been through so far, and there is no indication it will fail anytime soon. I am not sure if it is meant to be waterproof, but I have had it out in a few rain storms, and everything has stayed dry. It sure beats the $100 plus cost that they try to get for the ones "made" for archery.

I love to fish, but I am too cheap to buy a boat. There are a lot of rentals around here, and I like to fish from the bank. Finding the best tackle bag has been an ongoing quest, and this is my goto bag at the moment, and I don't see it being dethroned anytime soon. I have a bad back, so sometimes I need a rest out in the middle of nature. The pouches are spacious, and well thought out. You can access the main pouch easily while sitting on the stool. I'm 230 lbs and it holds me fine. Great value! Would buy this again!

a very practical combo for bank, or off shore fishing, bag is big enough for 3 3500 series tackle trays with enough space left , the chair part is sturdy enough to take 200+ lbs person, dont expect it to be a lawn chair or some kind of lazy boy seat, it is a backpack with a stool after all..the reason for 4 stars is a broken plastic latch that hold the bag to the chair frame, even tho it was inspected by amazon warehouse..

lots of space & compact. super painful on the back if you are using it for a long hike, needs cushion to cover the bars. the seat is tiny and if you over pack it will feel like its going to tip over when you sit on it. would be better if it had telescoping legs so you don't have to squat down so far to sit when your legs are soar from hiking. super sturdy and very durable material. ill be using this for fishing trips and what not now rather than long hikes and camping. still a great pack though!

Exactly as described. I have trouble walking, and it helps to be able to stop and sit for a few minutes when I need to. I bought this backpack to go hiking in Muir Woods. It has plenty of space for the things I need to carry - ID, water bottle, lunch - and a built-in folding stool strong enough for a grownup to sit on.Though I wouldn't recommend sitting on it for extended periods of time, for what I wanted it was perfect: sturdy, but light-weight (around 4 lbs. empty). Pay close attention to the measurements: it is a small stool, and not very tall, but it worked exactly as I needed it to when I needed to rest. (I am 5' 9").

The pack is pretty cool. It's pockets are nice and the main center compartment is plenty big. It also has the lining the description included and seems as if it would be pretty waterproof. I haven't been in the rain with it. Ok, the camp stool. I wasn't expecting much by what some of the reviews described and it is darn small but it seems really strong. I would make sure you sit it on level ground or you will end up feeling the ground. It's just got a small platform. If you do tip over you don't have far to go. Overall though I'd say it's decent deal.

Very good quality but the seat is too narrow (for a slim adult male) and bag slightly off the ground would be better.

イスの高さや座り心地は問題ないが、リュックに難あり①容量が多くないので、町歩き程度の付帯用途②ショルダーベルトが細いうえに短く、ほとんどが調整ベルト部になるため、体に食い込んで痛い。ドリンク等の重い物は、入れない方が良いと思われる。長時間の順番待ちナラビニストには最適かもしれない。（この目的で購入）

体重も73kgくらいですが、前屈みになった瞬間に、バリッと1/3位座面の縫い付けがほつれてしまいました。ミシンがけをしようにもできず、手縫いして何とかなりましたが、ちょっともともとが縫製がどうかな？という感じです。派手に座り込まないようにすると良いと思います。というか、自分が重すぎたのかな？（笑）

大洗への聖地巡礼の際に使っています。歩き疲れたら、椅子として使えるのが良いです。ただ、左右のポケットがありますが、ここに物を入れた時に椅子のフレーム部分と干渉するので、使用する時は柔らかいものを入れる様にしています。私は段ボールをバッグの中に入れて、形を整えて使っています。

5年ほど最低週1回使ったら、座面の糸が切れ、生地がへたりベルトとのつなぎ部分がへたってきたので買い直しました。容量も大きく、座りやすくて便利です。もう少し布と糸がしっかりしていたらと、残念です。
