Saved me from having to buy a whole new watch!
I replaced the battery a few days ago and I am quite impressed. I’ve had my watch on for a good 6 hours and am at 94%. I only charged it up to 50% yesterday and it lasted for over 10 hours before the 10% warning came on, and that was with quite a bit of playing around with to make sure all the functions were working properly. For some background, my watch had been originally running low on battery after 10 hours a day from a full charge and about a week ago while removing a bumper from the screen I had noticed the screen had detached from two of the four sides. The battery had swelled and needed to be replaced. I was devastated and the fact that Apple no longer fixes Series 1 was rubbing salt into a wound. I didn’t want to shell out the money for a new watch and my hubby told me to just buy one used….boo.I went onto YouTube and this looked like a much easier fix than I have done in the past. I’ve repaired iPod touch screens and a drive here and there on Xbox’s. The hardest part about this one was trying to get the battery to clip in and making sure it charged before sticking it down and gluing it in. I was able the get the battery in and strip of dry glue out without having to unclip the screen cables. I can’t comment on the 3M adhesive provided with the kit, I had used B-7000 glue. Anywho, this kit worked well for me and I’m hoping the battery will continue to do so. If not, I will update.

Good so far
The screen of my Apple Watch Series 1 (7000) popped out because my original battery got inflated.Bought this kit and it included everything that I needed to ser it up properly. The new battery didn’t have any Apple specific branding, probably a third party battery. It fit perfectly and was easy to install. The battery was completely drained. I had to leave it charging for about 30 mins to just test if everything was OK before sealing the screen back in place.Everything was working as expected.Took a few hours for a full charge but now it lasts the same amount as when it was new.Hopefully it lasts long enough.

Waste of Money!
Once the face of my iPhone came off, I immediately researched the remedy. I came to Amazon, found this product and ordered it. It was delivered in a timely fashion and I went through the process of installing the new battery. Once the battery was connected, I noticed that the display was dark and wouldn't brighten up even when I put it on the highest brightness in the settings. I figured maybe it needed to be charged, so I placed it on the charger. This battery lasted only a few hours before it completely died and now is no longer working. This was a complete waste of money for a "new" battery!

Great, inexpensive fix for swollen battery issue
I wouldn’t say this is an easy fix for everyone, but if you are a meticulous, detail oriented person with some basic technical skills you should have similar good results.First, the screen of my Series 1 watch had popped off due to the swollen battery issue, so I did not have to worry about prong the glass screen off.I did NOT disconnect the screen to replace the battery. It is not 100% necessary but would make applying the adhesive strips easier. I simply slipped them around the assembly. Some other tips:The clasp holding the original battery snaps apart relatively easy using the plastic spudger. Snap in the new battery and do a test run on charging before sealing up the watch. I initially got a the red/green snake, but I just left the watch powered on with new battery until it I felt it was drained then charged it for 2 hours. It powered up perfectly after that. The included 3M adhesive strips WILL work. You need to use both. Remove the rubber gasket and clean it carefully with 91% alcohol. Do the same with the back of the glass screen edge and the channel in the watch body. There is an existing adhesive strip around the edge of the glass screen. Be sure to remove this before applying the new strips. Use the tweezers to help scrape out residual gunk and finish cleaning with alcohol and ear bud.The strips are a little finicky, especially if you leave the screen attached. Start by removing the center piece. Peel the brown backing off, then carefully slip the strip around the screen. Start in one corner of the watch body and gently press it into the groove there, blue side up, working your way around. The tweezers will be useful here. Once in place, peel the blue away from the strip. I used an X-Acto knife to help here. Just make sure the clear adhesive strip stays in place. Now, slip the black rubber gasket around the screen and press firmly onto the adhesive strip, using the tweezers to help. Next, repeat this with the second 3M strip from the kit. This time press it onto the black gasket. Peel away the blue, carefully line up the glass screen, press firmly, and you are good to go! Good luck!

Has everything you need and works great, definitely worth the money
The battery in my first-generation Apple Watch had swollen (a common problem) and the screen had popped off. Apple wanted $200 to fix it, which was crazy. So I figured it was worth trying a less-expensive do-it-yourself solution. This kit includes almost everything you need. Apparently the hardest part is getting the screen off without damaging it, but in my case, the screen had already popped off. So it was pretty easy to remove the old battery and install the new one – the included tools were essential for that. I had read that it was really difficult to install the included adhesive ring, so I elected to spend a few more dollars and ordered some glue that came in a tube with a tiny metal applicator. After clamping the screen in place for a day, the result is an Apple Watch that works as well as it did when it was new. The battery life is back to 24+ hours, and everything works great. I did not have to replace the force touch sensor so can’t comment on that.Well worth the price and will undoubtedly give me a few more years of use out of my five-year-old watch.

Are You A Professional Watch Maker?
If you have the patience of Job then this is product for you. The adhesive didn't work. 3M my a$$!. I had to use the crazy glue. The battery was ok after 4 charges. It's best to put you watch in airplane mode the battery life sucks!
