BL Metamorphosis Vol. 1

I literally read the whole thing in just a few hours. I'm really glad I brought it, it's really wholesome.

Everyone needs that book that balances out their hard-core collections. This is a strong narrative driven book that is about following your passion, and that you can start at anytime. The 2 main characters are an unlikely pair of friends, a girl in high-school and a senior citizen! It's very sweet but also to the point. The minimal art style to me really pulls off the slice of life vibes. Reminds me a lot of the Corner of this World manga! Give this book a try if you want something warm and truthful for a change of pace.

Wow, really loved this first book. I thought the cover and synopsis were cute and now I can't wait for volume two. This is probably a series for folks who like more chill, heartfelt character-driven stories (Perhaps like Princess Jellyfish or some Ghibli animations like Whisper of the Heart).

i cried halfway reading this. A little old lady and a shy introvert making friends over BL and getting excited and having fun its so wholesome and cute. Need more friendship stories like these.

Wonderful story about friendship. The characters are wonderfully by and their relationship is inspiring and deep despite the generational divide. Real nice slice of life manga.

Sorprendente manga sobre la vejez y la literatura de ficción homoerótica. Siento que leo una joya escondida y que el tema central (hentai romántico y homoerótico) pasa a segundo plano frente a temas como la soledad de las vidas ordenadas y las vidas desordenadasMe gusta como presentan la vida de la señora, que resulta ser maestra de caligrafía japonesa (y que siempre tiene un arreglo de Ikebana en su casa).Pienso que esto del género BL bien podría ser lo que pasa con autores como Bukowski y William Burroughs (incluso Zizek y Shapiro) que son considerados de segunda por los temas que abordan. Pero que utilizan ese "gancho" para contar un historia de manera diferente.El personaje de la niña (Yuki) es el de la típica niña de secundaria con problemas para socializar. Pero el giro de trabajar en una librería (y tener su colección de libros secreta) me parece muy interesante.Me gustan los pequeños detalles, las ilustraciones, la alegría de cuando van a tomar un té o comer un pastel en las cafeterías de Tokyo.

Este manga super genial puedes sentir como puedes compartir tus gustos con diferentes personas y diferentes edades, lo recomiendo mucho

A lovely story about the friendship between a girl and an old woman who discovers the wonders of BL through her young friend. I have zero interest in BL and yet I found this manga utterly charming. I think it's for almost everybody. Truly heartwarming!

Me encanta la historia, es muy bonita. La amistad que comienza entre la señora Ichinoi y Urara es muy hermosa y creo que es un manga que deberían leer.Llegó en perfectas condiciones.
