Decent heater, but needs to be cloes
I purchased this heater to use on an open deck. The deck has beams going across the top which are about 15' above the deck. I knew this wasn't going to be a super powerful heater, so I wasn't expecting it to have a HUGE impact, but I'd say it does a decent job!The heater itself feels of decent quality. It's clearly not a $1,000 heater, but also doesn't feel like it's going to fall apart after a few uses. For me, having the remote was a big plus. One thing to note is that in addition to the remote, there is also a physical power switch on the side of the heater. Leaving it on keeps the device in standby mode. Not sure if that consumes any power of it poses any risk for leaving it in standby, but still good to know.

Great Little Heater
Super easy to install. Got it on the ceiling with one toggle bolt. Quiet and instant heat as promised. Using it to heat a converted single car garage with little to no insulation so it is usually an ice box in the winter. Left it on all day. After 1 hour the garage wasn't an icebox anymore. By the afternoon it was up to room temperature and comfortable enough to be in unlike before. Considering buying a second unit for the same space.

Outside comfort
The heat output is sufficient considering the size of the unit. I am happy I purchased two which covers the entire patio

Don’t loose the remote!!
This is a nice heater over all, however it does feel a little cheap but most heaters do. The heat you get from this is very nice, no complaints there. Now the bad and the reason for 2 stars. First off there is no pull switch like it says in the description. Also the on/off switch turns it on, but does not turn on the heat. You must have the remote to turn the heat on and off as well as adjust the temps. Without that you’re screwed, and the remote feels really cheap. So if you’re bad at loosing remotes or breaking them then this is probably not the heater for you.

Heater for birds
Own exotic birds and I’m using this heater to keep area where birds kept nicely heated. Living in North Florida there are days temperature may drop in the 30’s.

Perfect for our new covered deck!!!
We covered our deck this fall...just in time for freezing temps! We needed a heater, so that we could enjoy our new space year-round! This heater is perfect!!!
