Can this splitter except an active input and produce a passive output? if so will the power still need to be connected on the output side?

I know the input can be active or passive. When I used one of these the outputs were active. I wired it like data sheet. I tied the output + to my plc analog input and the - to my DC common in my control panel. The other output went straight to a panel meter. I don’t know if it’s possible to wire outputs passive. You might give ASI a call. Sorry I couldn’t be more help.
