Frebento C. G. Whitlock's Kaf-tan KT-1 Coffee Pot and Tea Pot Cleaner 6 Pieces

The product really cleaned my coffee pot. I have washed and rinsed coffee pot several times, ran pure water though perculator, and made two pots of coffee. There is a tin flavor in pot if coffee which was not present before use.

Our electric perc is pretty constantly in use, and was showing it. I finally found a late night time when it was out of coffee & hadn't been refilled and ran one of these cleaners. WOW! The inside bottom, which had been coated with coffee (acid?) stains despite being brushed btwn uses is clean silver again!Cleaning is easy but you need some time--first run the stuff through & let it cool, then clean all parts & run clear water, let cool, give at least a thorough rinse before brewing coffee. This is very important bc some of the cleaning ingredients are not safe to swallow. No lingering taste or smell, & really easy--just be thorough about the followup.

I have been looking for an electric percolator cleaner for a long time, since dip it isn’t sold in packets anymore. This product worked great on my extremely stained coffee pot. Pleasantly surprised.

Product is easy to use. Just add measured dose to the pot, stir, and run percolator. Then just rinse the pot out, and it is ready for use.

Unable to find my regularly used product. This was a good second.

Since I switched to a percolator for coffee brewing, I struggled to find a good cleaning product, and now I finally found it. Many other products that claimed to work on percolators won't eliminate a build-up and required additional scrubbing afterward, not to mention multiple cleaning cycles. This product works right away and leaves the percolator spotless inside just after one application. Amazing! I won't ever use any other product again.

I use an old-fashioned stove-top percolator for my coffee most days. After a number of uses, there are stains. This stuff cleans them right off. Just follow the instructions and it's clean as when new. After it was done, I poured the concoction into my Thermos and added some more just off the boil water, and let it sit for about 30 minutes. Then, I poured some of the water into my stainless steel travel mug and left it for 30 minutes. Cleaned the insides good as new! Just remember, after using this stuff, rinse them good with cold water. Then, wash them with dish soap and rinse them again to get all the residue off. I also soaked them in cold water for 15 minutes and rinsed them a final time. This is some good stuff!
