VTech Baby Lil' Critters Musical Dreams Mobile

I love that this mobile plays many different songs. Being able to chose how long you want the mobile to play for is a life saver! I like that it turns on automatically when my baby wakes up to help soothe her back to sleep. The night light is also a nice bonus.My suggestions for an even better mobile would be. Sometimes the music turns back on when she rustles a little bit, it would be nice if the sound command wasn't so touchy. It would also be nice if I could set it to automatically come on when she wakes up without having to turn it on first when she is already asleep.

Super happy with this purchase and all I can say about this product is that it's great!My baby is 9.5 mos and loves looking at the pretty bright colored figures spinning from the mobile.Biggest surprise was that it said it will come on automatically when baby cries and I was like, "No way?!"Well yes way!Ever so often, she will wake up in the middle of the night and this helps her get right back to sleep, no problem at all.Has different settings so you can just do spinning mobile/music, lights/music or both.3 different sound settings and you can also turn volume up or down at your convenience.Very easy to install and uninstall from crib. I've moved it around on different sides so she can't reach it and it's on there sturdily.All in all, was a 10/10 for me.

I saw a ton of negative reviews on this, and was worried I wouldn't like it. I have had it for 2 weeks. I did have to double knot the sting so the animals wouldnt fall, but this didn't make the string length any shorter. Besides the knots being too small the item is perfect. Keeps my baby happy and I think the little critters are cute. I would recommend this item to a friend.

-Updated-After contacting the company and learning how to reset the Mobil I am more pleased with performance. However it does need to be reset each time the batteries get low and it is a little annoying.Overall my baby loves it and the variety of settings is nice.I have had this for 2 months now it is not something That is used daily so I am a little upset that it is already not working .It no longer spins and the sound is glitching so Only the 1st few seconds of the sound is played and then cuts out and plays again

Con: the arm for the mobile sticks straight up, as opposed to hooking. This means that when turned on only half of it rotates over the crib, the other half rotates outside of the crib. This also means you cannot install it next to a wall, in our case we had to install it so it's right in the middle of the crib where we would normally pick baby up.Pro: Despite all the above, my kid really likes it. It plays music, lights up, and the canopy rotates. For the price and the short time we will be using it, I guess I can deal with the shortcomings.

Cons:straps not long enough to attach to crib. Dangling animals fall off and cause choking hazard. Goes through batteries really quickly. Broke 7 months after purchase, no warranty at this point.Pros: sound activated so every time baby woke and cried it lulled him back to sleep.It had various sounds and volumes to choose from.We basically used it as a sound machine since the mobile aspect did not work for us.I would have purchased a replacement since our baby liked it for that purpose if it were cheaper in price. Instead i’ll get an actual sound machine as they cost less.

This is exactly what I've come to expect from vtech products. It was easy to assemble, and easy to mount on my crib.My only complaint is that the string knots needed to be retied to keep them better secured on the mobile.It has a decent volume range, with the quietest setting fairly quiet. The controls are simple and coherent, and the song selections are wonderful. The soothing sounds option is my favorite.I like that I can choose to turn the illumination off, or the mobile rotation off. My 3 month old will stare at it, and start to coo after a few minutes. !!I'm very happy I made this purchase.

Well I'm getting more sleep since purchasing this. My baby loves it. It comes on automatically when he cries , so most if the time he quest down before I even get to his room. He falls right back to sleep. Been using from age 6 to 9 months. I wish I had it sooner. I gave 4 out of 5 stars because the hanging friends come off too easily. They are plush and safe tho.
