Best bolt cutter
Not only an easy and excellent bolt cutter but easily cuts off padlocks when key is lost. Recommend

It'll cut a lock - barely
I used it to cut a Master lock (1590D) that seized off an old shed. It did cut eventually, but it required a lot of effort and I'm a pretty big guy. Supposedly the shackle is "hardened steel boron", whatever that is. (Why don't they say, "boron steel" if it's an alloy?)Anyway, it will work, but you might want a different one to make your life easier, if cutting locks is your thing. Especially with longer arms for more leverage.

These are very sharp and work without a struggle if u need to cut locks or anything that’s too much for a wire cutter these will do the job. No lock can withstand the jaws from these bolt cutters

If a 65 year old woman can break a chain to get back into her garage ( lost the padlock key ) then anyone can use this effectively, I could not get a gripe on the padlock ( Master Lock ) but with some persistence I was able to brake a link of the chain and get back into my garage. I locked it up late one night, then I could not find the key. ALL my tools were INSIDE the garage of course. I ordered this bolt cutter which came quickly as promised. And I was able with some persistence to cut the chain. I will be storing this great tool Inside the house, to avoid it being on the wrong side of the lock jf needed LOL. (Keep it out of the hands of the bad guys)

Thought I would need to return these at first
I owned an awesome pair of bolt cutters that burned up in a fire. The last pair we bought broke when we tried to cut a padlock. I received these today and tried to cut some airline cable (dog tie-out) out of a tree and they did not want to cut through the cable. Eventually they did cut it, but it wasn't easy. I then tried to cut some of our goat fencing that needed replaced and they cut the fence like a knife through butter. They even cut through the tie down clips with ease. I think these will work just fine around the farm.
