I've said goodbye to the bubbles
This is a well-made classic box level, with horizontal and vertical liquid vials that are easy to read. I wanted that. There's also a large electronic module with a big, illuminated lcd display: I wanted to try this.A few months in I don't look at the bubbles: the digital display is much easier to read, has got several modes, and audio feedback. It's a game changer: you can now think in a number of tenths if a degree away from flat, instead of "a bit off".The electronics auto-shutdown after 5 minutes, so batteries will last awhile.Johnson levels have a pedigree, and this one feels like it'll be going strong for a decade.

Great Level Difficult to read at Ground Level
The display could be better for ground level measurements. The capability to do inches per foot slope is great to help avoid math errors when laying outdoor drain pipe (e.g. 1/4 to 1/2" per foot slope). Good Investment for me.

Measures slope in a bunch of different units
I got this level to help me correctly slope my a patio I’m building. This product is able to display the amount of inches per feet of a slope, which helped me tremendously! Moreover, I got this as “used like new” at a great discount. The product arrived in perfect state and seemed never to have been used!

No sound out of this thing...like the most important feature...
Seems to be quality, read everything, easy set up, but unfortunately the sound Does not work! Called customer service who knew less that I did and were perplexed. They offered an RMA but come on, I can’t be the only person out there with that particular issue. Nothing to try?Bummed ‘cause now I’m going with a model 3 times the money...-G

Great level. Welcome upgrade to my bubble level.
My first digital level and it’s great. I like that I don’t have to trust my eye anymore. It’s both sturdy and lightweight.

Great product but wrong size.
Great product but wrong size. I ordered a 24-inch and 48-inch. I received two 48-inch levels.

No magnet
I ordered a 2 foot level twice and received a 4 foot twice . No magnet it’s kind of a p.o.s. Now I have two of them wish I bought another brand

Digital level worth it's price.
As a lead and QC controller for our firm this shows exactly if the forms or level or not. Then one concrete exposed recheck and record for submission.

Calibration is not 100% accurate all the time.
Most of the time I turn the level ON, I need to calibrate it, otherwise there is about 0,3% difference when you turn it up side down.
