Complete Collection by James Last

In a word, disappointing!!! Not the music, mind you, but the recordings themselves. The music of James Last is marvelous and a lot of the cuts on these CDs are excellent. What I objected to, and prompted me to ask for a return/refund, were the CDs themselves. The songs and the properties data for each song were hopelessly mixed up. The embedded data on CD #3 read the same on #4 and #5. In the end I had no idea what song was next up as the play lists were a shambles.The Amazon seller, MovieMars - CDs, was responsive to my complaint and agreeable to the return/refund although a bit slow. I would buy from them again!

This a wonderful collection of James Last's music. I have had it for several months now and I play it often. This is some of the finest orchestral music you'll ever find by any orchestra or band. GREAT! GREAT! GREAT! The arrangements are perfect and the execution is fantastic. There eight CDs in this collection and each one is full to the brim with this great James Last music. The music is wonderful but in transit the plastic cases that hold the CDs and the circular prongs that hold the CD in place were cracked and the discs do not stay in place.

If you are a James Last fan you will like this set of CDs. I wanted something with a lot of his songs to use in the vehicle and this set does not disappoint.

My Dad wanted this. He had seen it on tv and loved the music. He plays it all the time!! The item came as described and fast delivery!

... ma non esageriamo né con le critiche né con gli osanna. Un ascolto prolungato ti porta al tedio, ma sono incisioni così bene realizzate (già ai tempi...) tali che, con un impianto stereo un po' muscoloso, l'immagine musicale dell'orchestra risulta molto impressionante. Ci fai un figurone con gli amici!....Poi se l'uditorio non è musicalmente super-evoluto (non come alcuni miei amici, musicisti del Conservatorio) il successo della serata è garantito.
