These are high quality products...the special 20s are a bit less expensive and still professional quality but a better choice for a beginner.

although the 10 hole is waaay to tiight??? hoping it works in & loosen after awhile- but this is my fav model honer. great sound & seems easier for a newbie like me but also suggested by the pros i follow online!!!

Great little harp. Love the sound. I'd but again, but will spend money for a different carrier. I-Parcel is a little funky. Their tracking is a joke. They know it and apologize for it, but don't appear to fix it. Tracking was lost within a couple of days. Actually showed up a day earlier than expected.

If they really wanted to do something different they could have put in metal comb! Bought one on the side , known i love it!!!

I got the harmonica cheap, an put an aluminum comb on mine. Sounds great!

So many harmonicas to choose from but I'm extremely pleased I went with this one. My main instrument is piano but I wanted a harmonica as I'm in the process of learning Billy Joel's "Piano Man" and thought it would be cool to learn the harmonica part too. I googled around a bit and saw several photos and videos of Billy using what looked like a Hohner Marine Band and basically thought "if it's good enough for Billy it's good enough for me". I went for the deluxe model because it seemed to be better finished and a bit more premium. It's a beautiful little thing, very well made with some lovely details and it sounds really good too. A long way to go yet on my harmonica journey but I'm already able to play the "Piano Man" harmonica part after just a few hours. So, if you're a newbie like me and you're looking at this thinking "am I gonna be able to get a tune out of this thing?" then I can safely say that the answer is "yes... yes you are". It's pretty easy and great fun to learn and would make a good first instrument for anyone of any age or ability.

Firstly delivery was really really quick! Ordered in the evening and was with me the next day around lunch time! I’m not sure how that’s even possible. Great service anyway. For me these are like Marine Bands that have had a face lift! Almost like a custom job. They sound very similar to the Marine Band which I have used for years. However these are louder, better comb and reeds, easier to bend and over blow etc. Beautifully made with smooth edges. Just what you would expect if you sent your Marine Band for a custom job. They are more expensive than a marine band but much cheaper than buying a regular marine band and sending it off to be set up properly for bends and playability. I’m going to slowly replace all my marine bands with these. Think they will last longer and also have screws so you can take apart for repairs or a good clean. Spot on. Great service here also by the seller. Really pleased. Will be back for more

I am far from a pro but I don't think that it sounds much different to my standard Marine Band which I prefer to play because the comb protrudes at the front edge. (in an arc, most prominent at the centre) if anything I currently prefer the sound from the non Deluxe. The screws for the cover plates are far better on the deluxe. The standard ones are horribly small.Is it worth the extra? Probably not but if you are not going to miss the money then go for it.

I bought this to replace my cheaper 1896 marine band which I lost. It’s a good harmonica but it doesn’t sound as warm or nice as the original. I still own an original Marine band in a different key and also two of the even more expensive Marine Band Crossover Harmonicas. The better spec marine bands have the advantage of being more serviceable when they go wrong but In my opinion the original 1896 marine bands are a much nicer instrument so in future I’ll stick with them

I'm just a beginner I started off with a cheap harmonica, so read some reviews was not disappointed it's a very good harmonica stirred a good tune.
