Unfinished Wood Pieces

Although there were a few bad tiles in the bunch, there were more than enough for my wood burning project to create some Rune tiles. The wood burning was fairly straight forward, just transfer and slowly do the burn. The ink stamping of the other side with a Vegvisir design was the hard part. Trying to ink stamp the raw wood was a mess with the ink bleeding into the wood fibers. I finally sealed the wood with a Mod Podge knockoff and did the stamping to some success. In the future I will continue wood burning on wooden tiles such as these; however, I won't ever again try to ink stamp a design on the other side. I will just print out the design on printer paper and decoupage it onto the other side. I hope this helps.

Always skeptical buying predicts like this when they are so much cheaper than the big box store, so just writing a quick review to help others. Quality was great and was exactly as described and expected.

Exactly as pictured. 60 pieces, nicely colored and smooth edges, perfect size for the project I wanted them for with 2 5/8" peg dolls.

This product states that it comes with 60 pieces… However our bag only came with 50 pieces. It is even clearly labeled 50 pieces.

These are great, make great magnets.

Plaquettes came in with holes at the top of them. They were supposed to be plain. This was to finish a project for a client. I am very unhappy by the loss of time and money.
