was VERY surprised at how strong these magnets are! i used them on an old antique cabinet that's not very level so was looking for something with a strong hold...i almost thought i was gonna hav to put tape over the metal to cut dwn the strength! so if your looking for strong.. buy these, if you're looking for a light grab... DO NOT buy these

Needed to replace my door magnets in my pantry and laundry room. These worked great and were easy to install. Only took me a few minutes.

I used this on an old armoire to eliminate the use of the key, and it was super easy to instal on wood and are strong enough to keep a large wood door closed. Opens easily with a soft pull. Really good!

I bought these to replace the broken plastic and magnet enclosures on my armoire. I used 1 at the bottom and top of each door, so 4 total. I made some 1/4" thick little blocks of plywood to boost these to the correct height to meet the catch plates on the doors. The pull is a little lighter than the originals, but they were too strong anyway. Probably why they broke. These are metal so that shouldn't be a problem. The pull force and closure force is just about perfect now. They come with 2 sets of screws, one for the small plate and one for the catch. The catch screws have a countersunk head instead of a roundhead, which would have been better, but it doesn't cause any problems. I also used one of these on my pull out kitchen trash can cabinet door that wasn't always staying closed. It worked perfectly.

My Blackstone pro was missing a magnet . These worked as a replacement . Door fixed , problem solved.

The magnetism and aesthetic of this product were both great. The problem I had with it was that they included silver screws to match a bronze fixture and the screws were only about 1/4", not nearly long enough to secure it properly. Should have been 3/4" in my opinion. Also the metal catch plate is not long enough. When securing the catch plate with the provided screws, the screw heads don't recess enough and the screw heads block the magnet from contacting the catch plate. If they would have made it a half inch wider and moved the screw heads to the end of the catch plate, it would work just fine. I ended up having to file the heads of the screws down to get it to engage

Loved this. Installed this on my grandmas antique cabinet that had a door that could not stay shut and worked like a charm! The included screws are great quality and do not strip easily. Was able to screw into hardwood without a problem

The cover to the breaker box fell off every time someone shuts the door. Previous owner did a poor job with installing a latch on cover. I ordered 2 pair of the Magnet Door Catches to securely hold a cover that hides my breaker box . Worked great. Cover snaps right into place every time. Cover weighs maybe 5 pounds. The Latches were more than strong enough to hold securely.
