Fun, Easy, and Perfect for Homemade Lollipop
I got the AKINGSHOP Large Silicone Lollipop Molds to make homemade treats, and they’ve been so much fun to use. The silicone is nice and flexible, so the candy pops right out without breaking, and cleanup is easy. I love that it comes with sticks, bags, and gold tie, it’s great having everything ready to go in one kit. I used Jolly Ranchers and melted them in the oven for easy lollipops, and it worked perfectly. The large round molds make them look like something you’d find in a candy shop, and they’ve been a big hit with family and friends. The quality feels sturdy enough to last through many batches, and it’s made candy-making at home a lot easier and more enjoyable.

Good quality and fun
You’ll need to look up directions and recipes, but once you know what you’re doing, this is a perfect set! The mold is easy to use and easy to clean. It is good quality and seems like it will last a long time. I like that it comes with bags, twist ties, and sticks.Make sure to put melted chocolate on the stick before putting it in and do it gently so the balls don’t break. I also suggest melting the chocolate, then letting it cool off before using. It won’t harden but will be way easier to work with. When the chocolate is hot, it takes a lot longer to harden on the cake and it drips all over the place, sometimes leaving thinner spots. We found that when the chocolate was cooled off, it was so easy to work with and made beautiful pops!Do know that this kit does not have a stand with it or a way to hold the pops while they are drying. The kids thought maybe the holes in the mold would do that, but it’s flimsy rubber like material, so it won’t. You can rig something up or buy one. Or you can hold for a couple minutes before setting fit down on parchment paper. This is what we did and another reason the cool chocolate worked better. If you held it for a minute or two while someone else was dipping another one, you could set it down and not get a flat spot. The hotter chocolate took well over 15 minutes to cool and we ended up seeing them down and getting a flat spot because we didn’t have enough hands to hold them!

Great for small batches!
I needed a mold quickly for a rush order, and this was the only one with same day shipping. I don't enjoy making cake pops, so this was an unusual test of patience. 20 cavities was perfect for small batches of different flavor cake pops. The mold itself had an odd smell, kind of like hot plastic, while baking but dissipated after the first few batches and did not change the flavor. The silicone is very thin and very flexible- which is both good and bad. The bottom of the cake pop baked kind of flat, with the weight of cake batter flattening out the bottom of the mold. If you overfill, underfill, or don't snap each mold correctly, you'll end up with a misshapen cake pop. Not the end of the world as the excess can usually be trimmed off. If you don't spray oil, your cake pop might stick but if you spray too much oil you end up with a crispy cake. So there's a lot of tricks and techniques for using this. If you're in a hurry or impatient, I'd go with a stiffer mold. I used a standard recipe for a yellow or white cake and added flavors, then dipped in tempered chocolate. Overall, this was great for a quick-shipping and cheap option, but because I don't like making cake pops I think it would have been less frustrating had I purchased one of the electric waffle-iron-type cake pop makers instead.

Good value
I haven’t tried the bags and twists yet, but I’ve made several batches of hard candy with these molds now, and it’s working well. The sticks are of good quality. The molds wash up well.Be aware that any surface touching the mold will end up with a more opaque and matte look. The top side of the poured candy will have the shiny glass-like appearance. Wish this could be avoided, but not sure how to.

Very FLIMSY and holes don't work
I wanted to love it. I wanted to bake directly into this, which I did and it seemed fine and I got round balls (but needed to add more oil to the silicone so it comes off easier). I don't like the whole bake a cake and mix it with frosting taste bc it taste raw-ish to me. I tried both ways and like the actual cake baked directly into the mold. Anyway, the main complaint here is that the HOLE DOES NOT HOLD YOU CAKE POP. So do not rely on that and also the mold is VERY FLIMSY! That is why the stick will not hold up. If you have a different item to hold your cake pops, then this will be fine. However, I found babycakes machine (not mini version) works much better and faster.

So much fun!
I got these because I decided I wanted to make a special treat for my dinner party guests. I had never made hard candy of any kind before but this mold was so easy to use, the sugar didn't stick at all, it fits anywhere I want to store it in my tiny kitchen, and the sticks, twisty ties, and plastic wrappers were extra helpful! The lollipops turned out great and they looked fantastic too thanks to this kit! Would highly recommend!
