Excellent refresher for all things film
I've recently rediscovered film photography, using both my old SLR from the 1980s and a Point&Shoot I bought in a charity shop. This is an excellent book to refresh what I had forgotten and learn things I never knew. I doubt I will ever try a pinhole camera, or develop my own films but it is useful to have the information there just in case.

Waste of money
A basic over view of film photography giving nothing more than a list of different cameras, scanners, film etc. Certainly this no tuition to mastering film photography. Most chapters start with the excuse there could be a whole book on this subject. 169 pages of basics is not enough to mater the subject. Waste of money, wish i hadn't bought it
