I used this with the battery supplied. After a full charge, the torch worked for apx 20 minutes before the battery drained. I tried charging it overnight. 8 hours of charge and the torch worked for apx 30 minutes.I then tried using 3 AAA batteries with the supplied adaptor. Again, the batteries drained within 20 minutes.Although the torch is really bright and the beam goes a long way it is of no use if you can't get any more than half an hours use before needing to recharge the batteries.Sent back for a refund.

The torch looks and feels great but arrived with absolutely no instructions. It worked well with its transit charge but this morning battery flat and no light! I pluggedthe cable supplied into the charger port and nothing! I have tried several other cables again not charging. I removed battery and charged it on a remote battery charger and when I replaced it in the torch it powered up. I need to know from seller if there is an issue with the charging circuit in the torch? Should the torch indicator lights luminate when charging? As there are no supplied instructions I just need to know if there is a charging issue and should I return the torch?

Absolute rubbish. Lasted only a couple of weeks. It charges ok and then loses charge in a matter of minutes. Don’t buy this piece of junk. If I hadn’t thrown the box and packaging away I would send it back. Lesson learned. Don’t be swayed by the good reviews, make your decision on the bad ones. That’s what I’m doing in future!!! Very very very disappointed!! Not cheap either for a small useless torch!!

When arrived the battery was placed on charge. The torch did not work and would only work when plugged into the mains. Even when plugged in and turned on you couldn’t then turn the light off unless unplugging it. Purchased this as a replacement torch and my broken one is still brighter than this. Would not recommend, better torches on the market for the same price.

It didn't hold a charge long, although I probably had it on full all the time. I need it for walking the dog in unlit country lanes during the winter months. I only got one full-beam use per day without needing to recharge it. It was too large to fit in my hand at the same time as the dog lead. Too many options to flick through between on and off ie you have to flick through five settings to go from on to off. The price was ok so not too bothered but I ended up buying another smaller USB rechargeable torch which was smaller and simpler - on-off.

The torch arrived on time and at first i was really pleased. It is incredible bright and has a handy sliding lens which focuses or widens the beam.The initial downside was that the charge only lasts about ten minutes maximum before the brightness fades.Things that niggled me after a while were that the sliding lenses became a bit loose and would move if you moved the torch quickly. The rubber cover which covers the charging port is always coming away and on a couple of occasions has fallen off and is a bugger to put back on. The charging cable is a bit flimsy and the covering came away quite early on.THE MAJOR PROBLEM IS, AFTER SIX MONTHS IT STOPPED WORKING!Don't buy it, its rubbish. get a good one from Halfords and pay a bit more!

Brilliant compact torch extremely bright on high setting more like a floodlight but carry an extra fully charged battery if using for long periods on high mode , as it is that powerful it drains the battery quickly ,my only problem was with the usb charging port cover on the underside of the switch kept opening while using the torch (taped it up and using battery charger) but highly recommended for all types of jobs which need good handheld lighting

Torch is very bright. Similar brightness to more expensive models of torches I own. Very useful that the torch can be powered by the rechargeable battery provided or AAA batteries. Battery level indicator is also a very useful feature. Customer services were very helpful and answered all of my questions. Would recommend
