Laco Kassel Black PVD Swiss Quartz Pilot Watch with Sapphire Crystal 861793

Ordered from a different site, but I love this watch so far.Pros:-The finish is great. Nice matte pvd coating, very stealthy.-The sapphire crystal is fantastic. it's so clear and the domed contour adds a nice reflection across the face.-Lume on the hands is really bright!-Great detail overall, between the beveled text on the case back, the sharp machined nature of the crown, and the hole punch in the second hand. Makes you look closer.Some cons that I've noticed thus far:-The crown isn't very snappy, pulling it out to set the time doesn't feel very mechanical (maybe that's due to it being a quartz). It feels very soft, and the extra click for the date wheel that doesn't exist doesn't help either (something I understand is common for Lacos).-The PVD coating does smudge with grease, and doesn't come off just from wiping it.-Lume on the indices is not as strong (note, the lume only exists at minutes 0,10,20,30,40,and 50.)-The band is STIFF and THICK. Which is fine, but it's definitely hard to pull to the best hole for your wrist.Overall, a GREAT watch so far. Perhaps I'll update to give a longevity review. I have a feeling that the PVD coating is not going to hold up perfectly. There's already a minuscule chip in back from resting it on a table that wasn't completely clean of crumbs and dust.

The Laco Kassel is one sleek watch! The PVD black is a great and durable finish, and the swiss quartz movement is spot on. Not even once has it jump forward/backwards in time from the day I bought it.The strap is a standard Laco quality. Very thick and sturdy.The Luminova is as described in the description. Very nice and bright!The watch did come in with it already ticking, so just be aware that Laco (Long Island watch) do turn them on before they ship.The shipping time was 5 days, with no problems whatsoever. And they packaged the watch very well!I would absolutely recommend this watch to anyone who is looking for a nice Laco with the sleek, remotely classic look, and Swiss quartz movement.
