American Valley Pet Naturespa Premium Basic Fountain

this is a great fountain that is really a 58-oz basic fountain and not, as advertised, a 72-oz premium basic fountain. i am waiting for seller VerInternetco, who has treated me very well and refunded the purchase, to correct their ad before i remove this review, which is only up for the time being to let people know what really ships when an order is placed. i already purchased a 58-oz basic naturespa fountain several months back and it has held up very well. simple, straightforward, and easy to clean, the cat likes drinking water from the spout, and i prefer this fountain to two other, more complex fountains purchased thus far: the pioneer stainless steel teardrop fountain and the catmate fountain. i like the catmate, though, and kept it as a second fountain for my cat. this was to be a third fountain, as there can't be too much oxygenated water sitting out for her to drink.

We have a cat that prefers to drink from the faucet. Since she's getting old, we thought she'd like this. The first day, she LOVED it, though our other cats wanted nothing to do with it. By the next day, the motor was so loud, they were ALL scared of it. In spite of the fact that we made sure the water level was more than adequate, the motor was so noisy, I couldn't stand it. Return shipping was over $15. The whole thing just wasn't worth it. If anyone can recommend a different pet fountain, I'd love to hear about it.

i had ordered this basic fountain for resale- i already have had several- who work great- but i received the premium one with the uv light---- none of the 3 fountain work. sadly because i bought for resale - i certainly do not open to test them. so when finally i had sales . all came back! the motors did not come on! the older simple models work well. but the uv is poorly done

I have owned this item for a few months now and it is still running strong. I purchased it for my chinese water dragons and they love it! For those of ypu who are unfamiliar with Chinese Water Dragons, they are semi aquatic lizards that love water as much as they love defecating in it. Even though I change the water daily, I wake up to find their newest attempts to clog the fountain yet the filter and the pump continue to thwart their attempts.As for noise, it has a bit of a hum to it but nothing major.In conclusion, I believe that if this thing can survive two water dragons it can survive your cats and dogs. I definitely recommend this product.

This is my 2nd naturespa fountain. The first one finally gave out after about 2 years. My previous one was the delux and I have to say I actually like this one better. It's much easier to clean and won't be so painful to replace after the motor gives out in a couple of years.

Worked fine until yesterday when AC adapter failed. Can I get a replacement adapter 12v

Love this product and so do my cats

I had this for about a year and it was fine. It's hard to clean and slime does build up but nothing crazy. My cats seem to like it. Recently, it stopped running for no reason that I could tell, so I thought no big deal because it came with a warrently card that I filled out and sent back which I thought was great. However, the website no longer exists so I cannot get the replacement which is annoying. I found the exact same model being sold by other companies.
