I bought these for a trip to Peru where there would be no electricity. These are small, lightweight and I thought they would be perfect. I did not have the best experience with them and ended up returning them when I got home. The white plastic covers would frequently pop off for now reason. When your walk in the dark of the Amazon Rain Forest and have to turn back to go find it, yeah not good. When it is dark the on/off switch is hard to locate it is so small. I also hand them hanging throughout my room. The one on the mosquito net over my bed would fall often and one even shattered. The hooks probably need to be a bit longer in order to avoid this happening. I think these are a great concept, but maybe go back to the design room and finesse some of these things. I would be happy to try again.

One of the four lights did not work but I understand the seller is going to make good on this. I just went through Hurricane Irma and hung a couple of these lights in the house and carried one around with me. They are really bright! I would give 5 stars if all four worked, but I love this product and hope the bulbs are durable!UPDATE: Seller immediately sent me a replacement, and all bulbs work fine. I really like these bulbs and will put them to many uses. Five stars now!! Thank you!

I bought these to put in our storm shelter. It is pitch black in there and with the dogs and stuff it’s hard to hold onto flashlights. I live in Oklahoma so we are in there more than we would like to be. I got some command hooks and hung these on the ceiling and they work great! They light up the whole room and they are really lightweight so they don’t put too much pressure on the command hooks. It has really made things easier this storm season! We love them!

I bought only two of these last year, and used them during a power outage during Hurricane Irma. They made the time less stressful by providing a room light without having to hold flashlights. We hung one from the ceiling fan chain and provided great lighting to play some board games and try to remain calm as we waited out the storm. Loved them so much I bought 2 - 4packs to have additional lighting (in case it happens again) and I also shared a few with some friends so they had them as well. Batteries lasted the entire time plus some.

Pros: easy to transport, hang almost anywhere, provide perfect balance of not too bright and not too dim light. Cons: one fell apart (the white plastic came off) on the second day hanging in the tent - easy to fix with some hot glue but a little annoying, when putting the battery part in it was a little rough getting it to go. All and all for the price and being able to have multiple lights in our tents (used one in the potty tent hung from top and in the sleeping and hang out tents) I'd recommend these.

These lights are adorable and I hang them in different parts of my house in case of a power outage. We have pretty rough winters and these are nice for some brightness in case of loss of electric. I have candles and lanterns but these are not as conspicuous as those. They can hang year round and be ready to go. I originally bought them for camping but thought they were too cute.

I bought four led light at $3 each. Each light has 3 modes, needs 3 aaa batteries to operate. About 100 to 175 lumen (3 led in each light). Works great as a backup. I will be more than happy if the light can also be charged via USB as well. But as emergency lights battery operated ones probably make more sense.
