Homestead Flavored Honey Sticks 100 Pack

Knowing that honey is considered to be a very safe and super good food you can know right off the bat that these are going to be good and I was not disappointed at all. I’ve tried each of the flavors I can’t say like one better than the other because I like every one of them. I intend on getting a couple packages to give as Christmas gifts to two of my granddaughters and it’ll be easy to ship these since I don’t get to spend this Christmas with them and I know they’re gonna love them. I highly recommend this to anybody that likes a good tasty and healthy snack. I wish these would have been around when I was a kid but they were not so I revert to my childhood when I have one.

I bought these to share at work - figured just a little bit of sweetness without being overpowering and individually wrapped. The package itself isnt very fancy - a bag with the label on it. Which was fine for my purpose but if you are looking for something giftwrapped its not very impressive. The flavors are excellent - not too overpowering and not artificial tasting. Its a good variety too - something for everyone. The ginger is probably my least favorite out of the five, but thats because its a little sharp for my liking. The lemon tastes very similar to the filling in a meringue pie...definitely why it disappeared the fastest! Overall, would buy again.

These are absolutely delicious. I got addicted to them, I kept grabbing them as I was studying and all of a sudden a huge pile of straws was in front of me. They are delicious. At first they were hard to open but I found that a good technique is placing the seam vertically along your teeth and biting. It works well.

These are pretty good. The whole family enjoys them. Not a fan of the lemon flavor. I bought the plain package too and if I’m being honest I think I prefer plain honey. I don’t particularly like the packaging. A couple of times when I bent and bite the tube it came out both sides making it awkward to get the honey out. It’s also very messy doing it the way they recommend. I wind up using scissors to get the product out, and then cleaning the scissors because inevitably honey gets on the scissors and my hand. Their honey tastes great. If they make a bottle I’d probably purchase that instead of these tubes. I primarily use these in tea, I use 3-4 tubes per cup so it’s not ideal packaging. I could see this being very useful if you want to bring honey out with you, as opposed to taking a bottle. The bag was sticky with honey, which I’m not sure why seeing as how none of the sticks were open.

Our whole household loves these from pre-k to adult age! We enjoyed trying out all the flavors and didn’t find a single one we didn’t like! Yummy and fun! I also majorly loved they weren’t colored with artificial dyes! Big plus!! (I gave 4 stars for packaging because while it was easy to open the individual sticks, and they come in a nice ziploc style bag to keep them all together and re-seal, I’d love to see some honey sticks find alternate packaging options aside from so much one-time-use-plastic.)

The flavors of each honey stick is amazing I never had flavored ones. These taste pure, clean and just like real honey should. I love that there are different flavors. My favorite is the cinnamon and cloves. Each one has a unique flavor and smell of the one you choose. Great for guess, snacks or a sweet treat. I stick them in a cup on my coffee bar at home for guest or family to grab.

I loved the variety of flavors! I bought these to include in bee-themed bridesmaid gift boxes. The colors were beautiful, and the package came with enough that I kept several for myself (they’re delicious!). I’m a big fan of honey sticks, and I know from past experience that they can crystallize if they’re on the older side. I was worried about freshness when ordering online, but the honey in these was perfectly smooth. I have no complaints!

Im using these hiney 'straws' in my cafe con leche in the mornings and to drizzle on top of foods I make at home. They are color coordinated to the flavors. In honesty, I cannot tell one flavor frim the other ones but they still work well for me on a biscuit, or fried chicken etc. They allow me to save my more expensive flavored honey for other cooking. As far as value, hard to say...probably only a quarter teaspoon of honey (or less) in each straw for the price. It truly didn't break my piggy bank.
