No problems at all
Easy to install as it was a straight swap for an older unit. No issues, still working perfectly months after installation.

Easy to fit & does the job
Easy to fit & does the job, replaced the existing analogue bi-metal strip room stat in under 20 minutes with no problems. Mounting holes are a little tight & may benefit from slightly enlarging to get exactly level when mounted. Seems to keep a good temperature range. Only negative comments are that the led display is not illuminated at all so can be difficult to read if in a dark area, also there is a distinct audible click as the unit cuts in / out at times. Suspect that there is a small relay actually switching the line out.

Great digital upgrade.
Good price for flexible digital thermostats. Good upgrade from our old analogue versions. Better control, greater accuracy with some good energy saving features- delayed start etc. Not difficult to install with some basic knowledge.

Parts missing
Just opened the unit to use and found that the battery terminals and springs are missing (not usable)

Finally I found what works for my old bolier
It works as expected. And it is one of the products which is suitable for my current wiring. I didn't want to change it but just wanted to replace my old electromechanical Sunvic TLM 2253. Even metal box (not a back-plate) from Sunvic was suitable for this thermostat. So I needn't to drill or change anything. One of the downsides could be that it has a built-in accumulator instead of a replaceable battery. I hope this accumulator will long last. As for wiring it is fully compatible with 3 wires - N, L, LS.

No LCD display when the central heating is off.
Wife brought this device and I found it very easy to install. Nice looking unit too. The device has battery compartment but I guess that is used in the E2 model. I turned the central heating on for 30 minutes expecting that would be long enough to change batteries the manual says it has. When I turned the CH off, the display faded within a few seconds, I am hoping that the internal batteries need longer to change up or this is going back, says that the internal battery is god for several hours. My CH is on for 2 periods every day.

Replacement for old (7 yrs) Esi unit. Easy to install. Accurate. Just wished they lasted longer!!!
