Product description ------------------- -derived emulsifier, suitable for use in natural skincare formulation. Oil in water emulsifier and thickener. Easy to use. Provides a moisturising effect. PEG-free, non-ionic. Not tested on animals and vegan-friendly. Recommended Usage Use 3 – 4% in low viscosity products for lightweight serums and lotions. Use 7 – 8% in high viscosity products for a thicker, creamier product. Melts at 70°C. Recommended pH 3 to 12 Formulations Add in the oil phase and heat to 70°C until melted. Heat water phase to 70°C. Slowly combine the oil and water phases together, genising continuously until fully combined. An emulsion can take 24 hours to reach the final consistency. You can add Vegetable Glycerine and Xanthan Gum to the water phase before heating to improve the stability of the finished product.
